  Hey, guys! This is the extended version of my original and first book, Gots Ta Know. There might be some parts that aren't in this version, but are in the original version, but this is the main version with many added scenes. So, enjoy!

            There is no good reason to go back to school. Everybody is going to be scared of me! Why am I going back to school in the middle of November, you ask? Because, two weeks ago, before my suspension, I got into the biggest fight of the school year, even though we're only 2 1/2 months into it. But everybody was talking about it, and I bet they still will be. That was probably my biggest popularity mark. But, as I said before, people will be scared of me. Plus, I've been looking for a boyfriend for a while, and how is that going to happen if I'm supposedly, "The girl with serious problems!"

       I reluctantly got out of bed, brushed my teeth, took a shower, and changed into my favorite neon green hoodie and skinny jeans. I put on some light brown fur boots and tied my hair into a ponytail. My mom didn't even bother to pick up my homework from school, but I wouldn't have done it even if I wasn't suspended. You can probably tell that I don't care about school that much. I went downstairs and ate a bowl of cereal. I got a text from my phone. It was from my best best best friend, Jacob Perez.

     - first day back from suspension... good luck!

    I've known Jacob since 2nd grade, when someone was calling me out on my Barney T-Shirt, he was the only one who stood up for me. We've been best friends ever since. I walked out of the house and got into my car. I just got it last year on my 16th birthday. I started the car and took off to school.

                                                                         * * * * * * * * * *

    I stepped out of my car and as soon as that second started, all eyes were on me. Damn! I thought. Why are you all staring at me? Haven't you seen someone get out of a car before? I walked  to the front doors of Oakward High. While walking through the front doors of the school, I overheard Legend Smith whisper, "Look, it's the girl who got problems,". I walked up to her and said, "If you got something to say to me, say it to my face!"

"Ooh, I'm soo scared!"

            That's it, I say to myself. I was about to throw a swing, but I know I couldn't get in to another fight or I would be expelled, so I just sucked up and walked into the school. When I get the chance, or if I get the chance, I'n gonna beat the fuck out of that bitch! I was now late for class, so when I walked into class, everybody was already sitting in their seats, all eyes on me. They wouldv'e been anyway, but it felt even worse now.  Even my homeroom/math teacher, Mrs. Falices, had an annoyed (and kind of scared) look on her face. "Ms. Lyons, I know this is your first day back from suspension, but that gives you no reason to be late. What is your explanation for this?" Everybody instantly paid attention to me, expecting to get an answer from me. "Why do you need to know? Don't you have a class to teach?" I replied, with no sign of respect for the teacher. "Ms. Lyons, just take a seat in the back." I trotted to the back of the class and took a seat at one of the desks.

         Jacob, sitting a seat in front of me, turned around and whispered to me, " Soo, how was your morning?" he said in the most sarcastic way ever. He knew I was in a bad mood, and he was just trying to cheer me up. So, I flashed him a not-so-serious smile. He turned around before Ms. Falices, or as I now call her, Ms. Fucklices, could say anything. I admired having a good student as a friend, to give me some better street-cred.

      I tried my best not to fall asleep. While I was paying attention in class (Okay, maybe I was pretending to), something interesting finally happened. I finally wasn't the only one late for class. But boy, was this guy LATE! I don't want to necessarily call him skinny, but he was a pretty thin boy, but had some muscle. He had two long braids and wore a cute monster hat.

I'd be lying if I said he wasn't one of the most adorable things I've ever seen.

      He handed the teacher a note. Mrs. Fucklices smiled at him. "Sorry, Raquan, but there is only one more seat available at the back of the class." Ok, I might be a bad student, but she can't just tell someone that sitting next to me is a bad thing! Like, talk about stooping low!

      "That's okay." he said. He walked over and sat in the seat next to me. He smiled at me, and I smiled back. I just couldn't help but think about how adorable he was! He remined me of another adorable person I've seen and known, but I can't exacly put my finger on it. But, that didn't matter. I just wanted to gush at, apperantly, Raquan, all day!

     I guess I was staring at Raquan a little too long, because Jacob noticed. He turned around. "You like him, don't you?"  he whispered. I nodded happily and proudly. He let out a grin, and with that, I just couldn't help but smile back at him. That's one of the things I love about having boys as BFFs. Ok, Brooklyn, you've really got to pay attention. But even if I did, everything goes in one ear and out the other. In other words, All that info will stay in my mind until I get home. The minute my parents ask what I learned in school, I tell them. But as soon as that's over, I forgot everything I just told them. So, I just decided to take a nap. The period was only half over.

   The bell woke me up. I walked to 2nd period, which was English. I just HATE it! Even more than Math with Mrs. Fucklices. Our teacher, Ms. Mitchell, always forgets when we have Library (which we don't even have as a class, so that makes no sense), and she has the most annoying voice. Jacob and I call her 'Ms. Bitchell.' Smart, right? Well, you know, he's the smart one. He came up with Mrs. Fucklices, too, even though he doesn't call her that. (We don't call our teachers the nicknames we gave them OUT LOUD, just so you don't get all shocked). Ok, in her class, I actually fell asleep.

     Don't you hate when you're sleeping in class, and the teacher calls on you on purpose? I just call that rude, like, why would you just wake someone up when your sleeping? I know they don't like when that's done to them! Anyway, I felt a light tapping on my shoulder. It was Raquan. "Brooklyn, wake up," he whispered. "Huh? Who? What?" I was so confused. Teachers always do that to embarass the student sleeping, but everyone already knows that I can't ge embarassed, or I'll snap their head. So, Ms. Bitchell's plan was ruined. She told me to stay after 3rd period for lunch detention, but she already knows that I'm not even going to come. So, I don't get why she tries.

     Fianlly, my 3rd favorite subject-- Study Hall. All your supposed to do here is do your homework or read. But, if your a person like me, I just chill during 3rd period. I felt someone tap me on the top of my head with a notebook. I look up & see Jacob. "I see your working real hard on ya homeowrk," he said. "You bet! I just finished....nothing at all!" We both started laughing. We got shushed by the Study Hall chaperone, which made us want to laugh even more. We loved going to a quiet place, just to get shushed by someone. That's probably one of the only reasons I love going to the library with Jacob. Also becuase I don't know where it is, or how to get there, even though I go there with him all the time.

   Jacob sat next to me, and we began to get into a conversation. Then, Avalon came to our table. Avalon is one of my... friends. It's just that Jacob doesn't really like her, and I can't blame him, because Avalon talks A LOT. Whatever you think of when I say A LOT, think bigger. The only reason she's my friend is becuase my mom kept stressing me to get a friend that's a girl. "So, guys, what are you talking about?" We didn't respond. "I see! So your talking about nothing? That's ok! I love talking about nothing! There are so many things to say about nothing at all, isn't that wierd? You can't see nothing, taste nothing- well, I guess water tatse like nothing, but water isn't nothing, it's water! You can see water, but you can't see nothing. So why is it that water taste like nothing, but water isn't even a nothing? Huh? Yeah? Right? Isn't that wierd?"  Finally, before she could say anything else, we were saved by the bell. Jacob and I ran out the door.
