Author's note

Sooo some of you maybe mad at me but I have a legitimate reason to why I left. It wasn't writer's block. It was the fact that I was lazy. So I will bless my audience with a fabulous chapter.

Raph's pov

"This may be the last time I get to say anything to you René. It's been one hell of a ride with you. I don't want to do this but I have to keep my vow to you and my family. I am truly happy that I met someone like you."

I leaned down and kissed her forehead.

I must summon all my power. Every ounce of it. I thought as I put my hands on her chest. I pumped the magic into her, making the room light up with magic. I could feel my life force being pulled out with the magic.

"No not yet. I have to finish." I said

I looked at her face. "Now live on my friend." I said while losing consciousness and dropping to the ground.

René's pov

"Now live on my friend" I hear a voice say. I open my eyes and I can see a figure. I can't make out who it was. Then the figure fell to the floor. I could hear the impact of it. My vision cleared and I realized what happened. Raph sacrifice his life for mine.

I quickly jumped down from the table and picked him up.

"Why would you do that?!" I yelled at his stilled porcelain figure. The tears burned at the rim of my eyes. When they fell, it felt like bullets.

I sobbed for a couple minutes until I hear a heartbeat. I quickly look up to see if I see that idiot smiling at me. But I see nothing; just his still lifeless body.

I must be going crazy. A heartbeat? It can't be.

But then I hear another thump. It's faint but I can hear it. I then realized something. The necklace. The very necklace that Raph stores magic in. I look to see if it's there and it was.

So that's must be keeping him alive. But why isn't it bringing him back? He stored enough magic in it so if this sort of thing happened, he would have a boost of magic to get back on his feet. But why?

I stood there in silence and pondered.

I think I know what might of happened. He used some of it back that club. Shit now what am I going to do?

Just then I hear the door open. I look behind me and it was a guy. He has black hair and it's short. His hair had a messy look but it is hot messy. His eyes are deep blue. He is muscular. He is somewhat tall with a gorgeous smile. He has on a black t shirt which complimented he tan skin tone. He has on cargo shorts with black vans. He is hot.

I snapped back in reality. "Who are you?"

He looks at me with an intense stare. "I'm Randall but call me Randy. I'm going to help you save him. First thing  please save qu-"

"How do you know about-"

"Save questions for last. To say Raph we have to go in a cave that can only be discovered by wizards or witches. In that cave, there is someone important in there who we need to speak to. His ancestor and she is not a kind one. I know the way there. Now you may speak." He calmly said.

"How do you know the way? And how can I trust you? On top of that, how did you know this place?" I asked in a frenzy.

He chuckled. "I have been there. I have been here. And just know you can trust me."

"Why does his life matter to you? You don't know him!" I yelled

He clenched his teeth together. "I do know him." He said through his teeth.

"No you don't!" I vamped in front of him and grabbed his neck and started to squeeze.

He just phased through my hand. My eyes widened.

"You're a wizard. Who exactly are you?"

"I'm Randell."

I gave him a menacing look.

"I'm Raph's mate." He said looking at Raph with sad eyes. "And now I have to save him."

"Raph has a mate? Come to think of it your scent does smell familiar. We have to leave and talk to this ancestor before the magic goes out in that necklace." I said.

He walked up to me and grabbed my hand. He teleported us to the outside of Raph's house. I jump in the passenger seat of Randy's car.

"I'm sorry for that back there. I was just scared. I'm René by the way" I said with a smile. I was greeted with a chuckle.

"I know who you are. And no need to apologize. I understand. I felt something was wrong with him which is why I rushed to be by his side."

I nodded and we just listened to the radio the rest of the car ride.

We pull up to a forest. He gets out so I do too.

"She doesn't really like vampires that much but it's not like she can hurt you right?"

"She can hurt me but not kill me." I corrected.

"Alright miss correction. We have to walk for approximately half an hour."

"You can't just teleport us there?"

"Magic is weak in this forest. I can only use low level magic now. Sorry."

"It's fine."

"Oh yeah I meant to ask you, how come you don't burst into flames in the sun?" I could see the curiosity on his face.

"I do burn in the sun. As we speak my skin is burning but my body heals quicker than a normal vampire thanks to Raph. It feels like touching a hot pot for a second. It's tolerable." I said. He just looked in awe.

"My boyfriend is so cool. I envy and love him." I just giggled at his statement.

We walked the rest of the way talking and sharing stories about Raph and the past.

We reached the cave entrance.

"It looks normal to me." I said walking into it. Then I popped up beside Randy. I walked through it again. The same thing happened. I tried and again. No results. Randy just laughed.

"Typical witches. Alright I have to deactivate the spell long enough for us to slip through." He put his hand out and closed his eyes.

"Done. Go in but be cautious." He warned.

I nodded and walked in slowly and took in my surroundings. Seemed clear to me.

"You scum." I hear a voice behind me say. It sounded quite young. I turn around and I am immediately grabbed by my throat. I'm pinned against the wall, the force choking the life out of me (if I had one). It was dark so I couldn't see who it was. My sense of smell was thrown off.

"Vampires are trash and should be executed. Every single one of them."

The force got tighter and tighter with each step she took. I was struggling to breath.

"Whoa whoa drop her please." Said Randy.

She growled and brutally slammed me to the ground with an even stronger force.

I rubbed my neck. "I'm guessing you are the ancestor. I'm René and that was some power."

"Indeed I am Alexia and you haven't seen nothing yet you vampire scum."

So I think this chapter is pretty good for my come back. Yes guys Raph is with a guy but he still has Becca oops. Lol I hope you enjoy and don't forget to comment and vote. Seeya!
