Rene's POV

"What do you mean by that?" Raph said

It sounded like he didn't know what do think at all.

"Xavier killed her. I don't know how he did it though. I left for like-"

"You left her? Could you be any more stupid?! You left an innocent girl alone and she was a victim of Xavier's torment!" He balled his fists in a tight ball.

I could tell he was mad just by looking at him. I could also sense the dangerous aura radiating from him. But you can't blame me right? I mean I would've killed her myself if i didn't leave.

"I had to leave her Raph. If i didn't-"

"If you didn't she would still be alive" He cut me off. I have to tell him but I know he will get even more mad than he already is and who knows what could happen. I haven't seen him this angry in a long time.

"If i had stayed with her, i would've killed her myself." I said while avoiding his stare. 

 He looked like he didn't understand what I said. I  just let out a nervous sigh.

"I haven't fed in a couple days and she got cut while we were in walmart. We went into the restroom so she could was it. I thought about ripping her throat out and draining her body but i fought it off. I went to pay for the stuff and that's when Xavier talked to me. I went back to the restroom and her blood was literally everywhere. I couldn't fight it any more." 

I looked down to avoid his stare." I already knew what he was thinking.

"You drank her blood?! Rene i have told you over and over to feed. I got you blood bags for a reason. You know what happens when you drink human blood."

"I couldn't help myself."

I could feel James's hand tense up so i gave him a little squeeze to let him know everything will be okay.

"I won't lose control this time I promise Raph." 

A tear fell from my eyes. In the past, I have lost control because i stopped drinking human blood. I would just kill for the blood and this time could be no different. I still don't remember the deaths nor what i put my victims through. 

"You say that every time Rene. I bet as we speak, the blood thirsty monster is dying to get out."

It's true. I was about to say something but James be me to it.

"It's not her fault that she tried to rescue you. She did everything in her power to save you and this is how she is repaid?" He said.

Raph scoffed. "I should've died. I rather die than to see my friend kill without cause. Don't come to me when you're broken Rene. Now leave."

I didn't say anything. I just got up and used my vamp speed to leave.

"Did you have to so hard on her?" James said. Raph ignored him and went back to his lair.

I was in my room when i heard my room door open. I looked up and it was James. He walked over to me and embraced me in a warm hug.

"It will be okay. He will come around. He is just angry right now. Give him some time."

I just closed my eyes. I could feel myself slipping away; i could feel myself giving into the monster.
