Rene's POV

One week later

It has been a week since my kidnapping and everyone was recovering. I can't help but feel guilty for everyone's injuries. I take a look in the mirror and felt were she bit me. I closed my eyes. I was startled by a pair of arms wrapping around my waist. 

"Calm down it's just me. Are you still blaming yourself for what happened? It's not your fault Rene." said James

"It is my fault and I am blaming myself. You wouldn't have gotten hurt nor would I if I didn't go crazy and try to kill that one guy. I am so stupid. I am still weak even when i have the power of immortality." 

"You aren't. I know this myself." He reached for my cheek but I used my speed to get away. I Ran out the house. 

~Flashback~

Raph's POV

Randy and I walked in the room where Rene was being help hostage. I could hear James and Isabella fighting, I grab the bars to the cell but i quickly realized  that there was a spell on it. I exhaled a breath I didn't know I was holding. I look at Randy.

"There's a spell on the cell (Hey it rhymes) and it will take some time to break even with the powers I have." I informed him.

"Do you think we have that much time? Xavier could be here at any moment."

"Lets start now. Put your hands on the bars and transfer your magic into it. The magic should override the spell. You will feel weak after you do this so are you sure you're ready?'

"I'm not going to let you do it alone." said a confident Randy. I nod and place my hands on the bars. He does the same. 

I'll get you out of there Rene.  

James POV

I was keeping up with her movements. We were toe to toe. I punched her and she started to giggle. She pulls me close and whispers in my ear.

"Is that all you got pretty boy?" She bit my ear. I pushed her away. She laughed some more.

"Stop laughing." I said. My fangs were itching to bite into her neck and tear it to shreds. I growled and ran towards her. I grabbed her arm and threw her then used my speed to punch her before she collided into the wall. I hear her laughing.

Why does she continue to laugh? I thought as I ran towards her. What happened next was something I wouldn't expect. She clawed into my stomach. All I felt was pain. I yelled out. Since I'm only a small fragment of vampire, It won't heal as quick. I knew Raph was in trouble. I saw her walking away from me but i grabbed her foot. 

"You aren't going any where." 

She smirked and punched my stomach. I yelled out again. "Now be a good wolf and stay here." She said.

She made her way into the other room. I laid there in pain thinking to myself. 

I have failed everyone. Especially Rene.

Raph's POV

I got nervous with each yell of pain. The spell was almost complete. I could see that Randy is barely hanging on. I just need him to stay with me for a couple minutes. 

Just a little more Randy. I thought.  I closed my eyes.

"Raph." I hear Randy  choke. I look to my left and see him being impaled by a metal bar. I just stared in shock as his body dropped to the ground.  I let go of the bars and just stood there. I hear her laughing.

"Oops didn't see him there." 

I ignored her. I could feel a deep power rush out of me. It was like I unlocked some sort of new power that I never knew I had. I looked from Randy's body to Isabella. I used telepathy to pry the metal bar from her. She started to run. She was quick but I was quicker. I launched the metal bar at her chest from behind. It pierced it while pinning her to the wall.  I crouch down beside Randy. The powers took over and placed my hand on his chest. I pumped my magic into it then he came to.

He looked at me like he was lost. "Don't ever leave me again. It was like a fragment of me was gone." I said. 

I then got up. "Now to finish what I came to do." I grasp the cell bars and used my new powers to break the spell. I rush in and picked up Rene. I see James walk in with a whole in his stomach. I nod to him and he nods back.

"It's time to go." I said while teleporting us with my newly found powers.

Xavier's POV

I walk in the cave where my prisoner was being held. I just wanted to check in because she hasn't checked in yet. I walk in and I was greeted with blood on the walls and floors. I quickly walked to the prisoner's room to see my mate pinned to a wall with a metal bar going through her heart. I take out the bar and cradle her lifeless body. 

"I was all about torture and playing with my prey but now this has changed everything. I shall kill her and everyone she knows and loves. Starting with her family." I said.

~End of flashback~

Rene POV

I was sitting under a tree in my front yard when Raph approached me. He sat down beside me. He placed an arm around my shoulders and pulled me in. I broke down crying. Isabella broke me mentally. He just at there rubbing my shoulders. When I was done, He spoke.

"There's no need to blame yourself Rene. It could've been any of us who was kidnapped. I'm not mad about the Rebecca thing. I understand you were hungry and you haven't fed in days. I'm also not mad about Randy getting hurt. Randy isn't either.  You shouldn't blame yourself for anything not even James. He would fight for you until the death. We are just glad to have you back with us." 

His tone was sincere and not the usual I don't care tone. I look up to see he was staring at me. The sun was setting which made him look even better. We stare at each other and I see him leaning down so I met him halfway. Our lips were in perfect sync before I pull away.

"You shouldn't have kissed me Raph."

"I know but lets enjoy it while we can." He grabbed my face and our lips met again. 

Randy's POV

"You lied to me raph. I'm not a fragment of you and I never will be." I said while I watch Rene and Raph kiss.
