"Mike! She's fine!" Lucas said as I took a deep breath. "She looks great."
"I don't understand how you fell in love with her so quick." Dustin said as I looked at him.
"Well... When I met her, I took her in for the night, not knowing who was after her, I thought I was doing a good deed. And then when she told me people were after her, I felt as if I had to protect her, like she was my sister or... my girlfriend." I said. "And I realised, I wanted her as my girlfriend, but I didn't do anything because I thought it was a crush! But then when she was gone, I realised it was much much more than it was."
"Aw." Dustin said as I looked back at the stairs and saw Nancy and Max walking down.
"Where's El?" Jonathan asked, as I was going to say the same thing.
"Presenting! The one. The only." Max said in a cheerful way.
"El!" Nancy exclaimed as El began to walk down from the stairs.
Wow.
I froze.
My body went numb as I saw a beautiful girl walking down my stairs.
She locked eyes with me and smiled.
Her dress fit her perfectly...
And I suddenly loved the colour Red, it then became my favourite, because she's wearing it.
She's so stunning.
"El..." I whispered as she approached me. Everyone was crowding around us as I gasped. "You look gorgeous."
"You look handsome." El said, nodding at Max. Max must have taught her to say that.
"Thank you beautiful." I said, taking her hands. "Let's go to the Snowball."
Me and the boys got a picture taken, then we left;

In one car was Nancy driving with Lucas, Dustin, Will and Max.
In the other was Jonathan driving with me and Eleven.
"So Jonathan... What's going on with you and my sister?" I asked as we pulled out of my driveway.
"N-Nothing at this point." He said, stuttering a little.
"I really want you two together, I hate Steve. No one understands how big of a jerk he is. Especially how he treated Nancy-"
"Do you know?" Jonathan asked as I tilted my head.
"Know what?" I said.
"Don't worry." He said as I nodded and carried on looking at my princess, El.
"You're so beautiful." I said to El as I heard Jonathan laughing a little, jealous much?
"Thank you." She said as she kissed my cheek. "I love you."
"I love you too." I said as we stopped at a red light and Jonathan turned to us.
"Are you serious?" Jonathan asked as me and El were confused. "You say you love each other but you aren't together yet? The hell..." He said turning back around. I looked at El.
"What does he mean?" El asked as I just shrugged. I couldn't ask her now, I have to wait until we get there, and it has to be the right time.
"Oh... Nothing, don't worry about it." I said shakily as she nods and looks out the window.
I love how she admires everything.
We then arrive at the school, ready for the Snowball.
"Right have fun, me and Nancy will pick you guys up for 11." Jonathan said.
"What?" She said as Jonathan laughed.
"No he means he'll pick us up at 11 o clock, not for just you." I said as she laughs.
"Oh okay." She said as we got out the car and watched Jonathan drive away. Me and El look at each other and she holds my hand. "Ready?"
