Will
I'll admit.

When I first saw Max walk down the stairs with Nancy, I immediately fell in love with her.

I finally understand how Mike felt when he first saw Eleven. It makes sense!

I know Max is with Lucas for tonight, but I wanted to have at least one dance with her. Or maybe a talk, a conversation, anything to get to know her better.

A song came on and Max screamed.

"IM SO DANCING TO THIS!" She screamed as she got up. "Who's coming?" Finally.

"I'll go." I said as I stood up and Max dragged me to the middle of the dance floor and we started dancing like we were alone.

It was pretty funny actually.

Lucas
"Why is Will dancing with Max?" I asked the boys.

"First he starts acting strange and now he's dancing with your date!" Mike says.

"I think he likes her." El said as we all look at her.

"He has been staring at her all night." Dustin added.

"Enough! Will wouldn't do that me. But if he did like her... I'd step back-"

"Step back? What is this R2D2 vs Darth Vader over Princess Leia?" Mike exclaimed as Dustin chuckled. "If you like her, go get her."

"But... Friends come first, right?" I suggested as Mike thought for a moment. "Listen even if Will did like Max, for something to happen, Max would have to like him back. Will has only been in our group for a couple years, but I know if he likes her, then I'd step back. He'd do the same if he asked Max and I was dancing with her." I said as Max and Will came running back.

"I am tired." Max says, out of breath.

"I'll be right back." Will says as he runs to the restrooms.

Eleven
Knowing what Will is doing...

He's obviously coughing up more slugs.

"Guys." I shout as everyone looks at me weirdly. "I have something to get off my chest. Don't be mad with me, please..."

"We wouldn't get mad at you." Dustin said.

"Whatever it is, tell us." Lucas said.

"It's about Will." I said. "I should have mentioned earlier but I wanted to tell Max too..."

"El what's going on?" Mike asks as I look at him.

"Today, Will was round our house and... I heard him being sick in the toilet." I said as everyone's face looked disgusted. "I went to see who it was because I thought it was Mike... Or someone. I looked and saw Will... Cough up slugs."

"Slugs?" Max says as I nod.

"Wait... El why didn't you tell me?" Mike says, a little bit angry.

"I couldn't see you until we had to leave and I feel like I should tell you all together instead of one by one." I said as he nods knowingly. He puts his arm around me and I put my head onto his shoulder.

"So that's why he's been acting weird." Lucas said as Mike nodded.

I felt like I betrayed Will. But who cares?

Will should have told his friends at the start, not over a year later!

I told him to trust his friends.

He should have listened.

Will comes walking back and he sits in his original place.

Everyone basically glares at him.
