Eldstone leaned against the stone wall.

The sun shot rays of light into the cave. Toby grabbed a paintbrush and small bottle of ink. He then walked over to the wooden chair. "Well, now, since you are committed to becoming a Guardian we better go on with the first procedure."

Eldstone walked over.

"And what does this procedure entail?"

Toby dabbed the brush into the ink. "Its just certain marks I have to put on your arm. It is so that the Dstellers can see you. When a Guardian retires, or passes, then we wipe the ink clean. They are still connected and will be connected forever to the Dstellers. We just have to remove the ink. So go ahead, sit."

Eldstone sat in the chair. He rested his tan and white arm on the wooden arm.

Toby pulled his chair closer. Eldstone could feel the cold ink as it seeped onto his fur. Louy watched was awe.

Tisen turned walking away. His tongue dangled out of his mouth.

The brush moved swiftly and softly making Eldstone close his eyes.

"Eldstone! Come dear!" said a sweet voice.

Eldstone ran down the castle steps. The three-year-old squealed with joy. "Mommy!" He shouted with joy. The Queen scooped him up, giving smiling and laughing. The King smiled with joy patting his son on the head. Eldstone squealed with joy. He then was placed down by his Mother. He then turned running toward the throne room exist. He turned.

Both his parents were not there.

He then began to cry.

Eldstone opened his eyes. "Sleep well? Oh, and you are all good." said Toby. Eldstone nodded. The prince looked at his left arm. Swirls and dots of black covered the white fur on his lower arm. He smiled. "Its beautiful." He then checked the outer part of the arm. Only tan colored fur.

"Well, its something Young Guardians have to do." Toby stood.

"You are next, falcon." Eldstone got out of the chair. He held his arm up so the ink could dry.

"I d-" Louy began to protest. "I know. I am just giving you a very small design." Louu rested his wing on the chair.

Tisen then came howling into the cave. He ran up to Eldstone smiling and jumping. "Hey! Do you mind!?" Eldstone barked. Tisen stepped back.

Tisen smirked. He then ran back outside. Minutes later, he returned with snow. Eldstone's blue eyes grew. "Oh rats! No! No! Please no!" Tisen smirked. Eldstone then ran to the back of the cave.

Tisen through the snow.

"Oh, its on now!" Eldstone said shaking his head to get rid of the snow.

Toby and Louy smiled.
