Eldstone and Toby walked into the Dsteller's cave.
Toby sat in the wooden chair along with Eldstone. The prince glanced at the stone stand. "You look at it with such envy.
"Should I not be?" Eldstone said back with defense.
"No. You should. Its vital for a Guardian to look at the Headstone like that." Toby leaned back in the chair. He then sprawled his arms over it.
"Guardians! Guardians! Guardians! You keep mentioning them, where are they!?" Eldstone yowled.
Toby opened his eyes leaning forward. "I suppose I must tell you." Eldstone grew silent.
"When I was not born yet and you were only a toddler, Tra was trying to come back from the Fiery Night. Yet to be known, it wouldn't. During this time the Guardians were trying to convince your father to move. The Dstellers ordered it. He didn't listen and soon got fed up with them. They soon stopped, fearing their life. Although a few kept on persisting. One night years later the Guardsmen came and attacked us. They took many of us and put them to death. Everything was destroyed. I remember it clearly and won't forget it. My father was taken from me." A tear rolled down Toby's face.
"I made it my mission to continue my path as a Guardian. Now since though there is no one left, I have trained myself. No one knows why your father wants to stay." Toby stood he wiped the tear away. He then began to walk away.
Eldstone glanced at the Headstone. He then walked over to it. He put his finger in the cracks.
He opened his eyes. Stars covered the ground and sky. Nothing else was to be seen. No landscape just a starry stage.
Starry saber tooth tigers and cougars lounged other talked in the tiny sliver of grass behind the stage.
"Good. You understand now."
Eldstone jumped back. Toby laughed. "First time scare, it happens." "Does Tisen ever come here?" Eldstone asked. "No, not really. He prefers to interoperate from my words. It works out better for him."
Eldstone walked forward. He kneeled staying near the stage. Eldstone's eyes widened. A few of the Dstellers leaped into the air doing elaborate dances.
"Its amazing." Toby smiled resting a hand on Eldstone's shoulder.
"This is what pulls us together. This is what makes the Dstellers the Dstellers. This is what we must interoperate and do for Tra. We will protect the Dstellers to our dying breath...."
Eldstone stood. He then began to walk forward. "Wait! Eld-" Toby called.
"Now, now, Toby. Its alright. Curiosity is a virtue we admire."
Toby ran forward. "Kneel! Damnit!" The young cub then kneeled pointing his head down. The surrounding Dstellers then rested their left arm against their chest. Then then only showed three fingers.
"Rise and rest all!" The Dstellers then went back to lounging.
Toby and Eldstone stood. Standing behind the Dsteller was four other. Their eyes had no pupils only tiny stars. Lester also had no pupils.
"Lester, right?" Eldstone said.
"Yes! You remembered my name. Nice. Although, what brings you here?" Lester asked.
"Curiosity." Eldstone replied.
"Thats it? I was expecting something more. Oh well then! Stay safe and well, dear Eldstone!" The Head Dsteller then began to walk away. His long robe dragged behind him. The other four followed behind.
