"Hey! Guardsmen! I need something!" Eldstone called.

Louy sat on his bed. A Guardsmen came running downstairs  to Eldstone. "You need something, Eldstone?" The Guardsmen asked. "Yeah..."

The Guardsmen leaned in close.

"Your clothes." The prince whispered before grabbing the Guardsmen behind the head and whacking it against the iron bars. The Guardsmen flopped to the ground. Louy smirked.

Eldstone rapped the red cloth around his face. He then added the iron plate. "Alright. Just act annoying." Eldstone said cuffing Louy.

Louy nodded.

Louy and Eldstone walked down the hall. Prisoners continued to shout and bang against the bars. As Louy and Eldstone made their way up the stairs, another Guardsmen intercepted them. "The King ordered for this prisoner to be executed." Eldstone said configuring his voice.

"Fair enough. Proceed."

Louy and Eldstone then made their way to the Throne room.

"And when should they be executed, sir?" A cougar said kneeling before Barlick. "Tomorrow morning. Right at dawn! That should be a good way to start the day." He said purring. "So it shall be, your majesty." The cougar turned walking away.

Barton smiled also.

"Your majesty. Louy, wishes to speak to you about something."

"Guardsmen! Leave us!" Barlick shouted at the Guardsmen standing behind Eldstone. The banners waved against the wooden walls. The room was eerie and poorly light. Eldstone un cuffed Louy. "Go after Barton." He whispered. The peregrine falcon nodded.

Louy then sprinted at Barton yanking him off the throne.

Barlick stood frightened and shocked.

"Traitor!" He shouted.

"I'm far more then that." Eldstone said removing the red cloth from his face. He then charged at Barlick. The brown saber tooth tiger then ran to the back grabbing a sword from the wall. He swiped it at Eldstone. "You think you can permanently get rid of the Guardians?! If the belief is still there, they we will persevere!"

"The Guardians were a lie! They wanted me to leave this land, my father's land, my land, our heritage! All for Dstellers!" Barlick spat.

"Your people's land! Not ours! They have spent months and years out there starving, homeless, and so much more! They have struggled to live! This land is useless! Can't you see that, father?" Eldstone screamed as the sword hit his arm. He felt blood start to ooze out. The protective armor that he was still wearing had done little help.

The prince's eyes narrowed.

Barlick raised his sword.

"What happened to you?" Eldstone rose. "Ask the Dstellers that one." Barlick growled kicking Eldstone. Eldstone then grabbed his leg tossing him to the ground. The King's green eyes  burned with hatred. He stood continuing to fight.

Barton lay on the ground unconscious.

Louy stood with scraps and blood on his feathers. The peregrine falcon stood triumphantly. He walked over to Eldstone near the terrace on the left. Across from that one, another one stood with waving curtains of velvet. "Louy!" Eldstone screeched with joy.  Barlick's eyes flashed with shock. The King himself was worn out. He screeched one more time running at Eldstone. His velvet cape fluttered behind him. His crown lay on the floor cracked.

Eldstone turned sharply tripping him and watching as he went flying over the edge.

Louy's eyes widened.

Eldstone then yelled with horror as he realized what he had done. He stretched his hand out grabbing his father by the hand. "Why didn't you leave! Please! Tell me the whole truth! Why did you have to kill them!" Eldstone yelled in his face. His blue eyes starting to stream with tears. Barlick sighed letting a tear roll down his cheek. "Your mother. I didn't want to leave her. Even after death. I'm sorry. You are right. I should have left. I just couldn't give up this land..."

Barlick's eyes then began to gleam.

He pulled on Eldstone's arm, trying to yank him over the edge, but Eldstone pulled back making him lose grip.

"Father!" Eldstone yelled.

A thud was heard from below.

Eldstone turned to Louy. "Well, that was dramatic." The falcon said. "No kidding..." Eldstone turned looking over the edge. His father lay on the cobblestone stone ground. His eyes wide with emotion. His body lifeless.

It didn't have to end this way...
