"Look, I understand why you two would want to fight. Trust me, it can get boring around here."

Toby continued to sort some things in the cave.

"But you can't show cruelty."

"Cruelty?! cruelty!? I wasn't showing that! How could I have been possibly been doing that!" Eldstone growled back outraged.

"Ah, so you don't know the difference? Understandable. Here, watch this. See this rock?" Toby held up the small rock.

"This rock was challenged to a fight. It fought it very hard and very well. Although his opponent did not do the same. It's opponent attacked it virgroessly and gave absolutely no  thought to it. No mercy, no care, no feel-"

"But I did ask if he was okay after! He was my friend, why would I won't to roast him!" Eldstone shouted crossing his arms once more.

"You gave no mercy while doing it. Your mind was too focused on winning. We aren't fighters, that is up to the Guardian Protectors. Although, even they used to follow a code. You fight for surviving, not for winning. Cruelty is something that should never be on your mind Eldstone." Toby then turned walking to the back of the cave.

Eldstone pushed back the black curtains. He stood outside.

You fight for surviving, not for winning.... The words echoed in Eldstone's head.

He glanced at Tra. Spring winds shook the bare trees. That life is over, I am training to become a Guardian.

You fight for surviving, not for winning....

I,

You,

I!

You,

I!

I fight for surviving! Not for winning!

Eldstone turned walking back in hitting his toe on a rock and shouting slightly.

Barton walked on the forest floor. He looked up.

What was that?

He began to walk toward the sound, hearing it faintly. The young dark brown  saber tooth tiger wore a green shirt and pants. Both made of cotton. He also wore a black cloak. His brown eyes scanned ahead. He then began to run.

Standing before him was a tall boulder. He began to climb it.

He peered over the snow covered stone.

There!

He saw a cave with fluttering black curtains. His eyes narrowed.

Should I go near it?

He then waited longer.

No. As father says, stay away. I will come back later.

Barton then turned running down and heading toward Tra.
