Undertale: Genocide

Chapter Thirteen: Dark

Sam walks into the next room and is face to face with a huge waterfall. There is no way around it. The only way is to walk through the shallow water. The entire area is dark and cave-like. It truly feels like the Underground for once. Before walking through the water, they find one of those boxes again.

There is a sign in front of this one. "This is a box. You can put an item in, or take an item out. Why would you, though? You can't use items when they're in the box! Sincerely, a box hater."

Sam dips their feet into the water and starts to cross to the other side. When they notice a strange line where the water doesn't hit. They decide to walk straight towards the waterfall. Triggering a secret floor switch, causing a secret room behind the waterfall to appear!

Sam takes a peek inside the room. It is empty, except a pink Tutu is lying on the ground. They walk over and put on the Pink Tutu. It should protect them better than the Bandanna did.

Leaving the secret waterfall room, they continue heading east. The next area has a lot of tall grass. So tall, it is easy to hide in. Which Sam does as they spot a monster in crazy armour above them on a ledge.

Sam moves a little bit, causing the monster to walk to the ledge and stare down into the tall grass. Sam stays still as they watch the monster summon a light blue spear. Eventually, the monster gives up and walks into the shadows of the ledge above.

With a sigh of relief, Sam exits the tall grass and heads towards the save point nearby. When suddenly, Monster Kid dashes out of the grass and bumps into Sam.

"Yo... did you see the way she was staring at you? That.... was AWESOME! I'm so jealous! She was just standing there waiting FOREVER, and then you just...! C'mon! Lets go watch her beat up some bad guys!"

Monster Kid dashes forward to catch up to that armoured monster from earlier. He trips on his face, but eventually brushes it off and runs off. Sam passes a save point that reminds them of their current goal. 18 left.

The next area has bridges made of flowers. It looks like a puzzle that's already been completed. Who's been doing all the puzzles? Surely not Monster Kid. He has no hands! Sam ignores it and proceeds onwards.

The next room is a larger version of the previous. A flower bridge puzzle that's already been completed. But this time, Sam was jumped by a monster! Their soul flickers to life as a monster hovers over.

The enemy seems to be some sort of mermaid horse man. Called an Aaron. It seems to be flexing it's muscles non stop. Sam pushes fight and punches it with their gloves. The Aaron takes damage, but it has life left to counter attack.

Sam gets dragged into the battle zone and suddenly a bunch of giant muscles fill the room. Sam has to run back and forth to dodge the massive attacks. They only get hit once, a small graze. Then they finish Aaron off.

The battle ends as usual and Sam walks on to the next room. The next room is a dark hallway. A sign on the wall says the hallway is a wishing room. But the only thing in the room are blue flowers. There are no sounds at all. Except the sound of monsters approaching.

Buttons spring up as a fight begins with a new monster. This one is called a Woshua. Its some sort of.. robot? Sam is not quite sure what it is. But to be honest, they don't really care.

The battle is like all the rest. Sam attacks, the Woshua counter attacks with some kind of attack that involves throwing a giant bar of soup across the battle zone. Sam attacks again and it's dead.

The monster turns into dust as gold and EXP fall out. Sam is not sure what EXP is, but they know its made of LOVE. They walk down the room, ignoring a telescope and all the blue flowers on the floor. The next area is a huge board walk. There are signs all over the wall. Sam walks up to the first sign and takes a look.

Its full of ancient writing. Super difficult stuff to read. But they barely make out the words. "The War of Humans and Monsters."

Sam ignores the rest of the signs. Its probably some dumb history lesson. Instead the step onto a moving platform. The platform takes them all the way across a massive gap of water. The cave is so dark, you have to look very hard to even tell it was water.

Walking into the next area, Sam is attacked! The armoured monster returned and is throwing spears at them. Sam runs down the wooden bridge they are on. The monster doesn't give up though. They chase Sam all the way down the bridge and into a patch of tall grass.

The monster slowly walks into the tall grass and swings a mighty hand in Sam's direction. Sam awaits to be captured, but it never came. The monster picked up what they caught. It was the Monster Kid. Monster Kid was grabbed in the face by the huge armoured monster.

The armoured monster puts Monster Kid down and walks away back down the wooden bridge. Another sigh if relief as Sam escapes the tall grass with Monster kid running behind.

"Yo... did you see that!? Undyne just... TOUCHED ME! I'm never watching my face ever again! Man, are you unlucky. If you we're standing just a LITTLE bit to the left..! Yo, don't worry! I'm sure we'll see her again!"

Monster kid runs off again. Falling on his face like last time, then running off. So, that armoured monster is Undyne. The monster Papyrus wouldnt stop talking about. Interesting. Sam slowly walks after Monster Kid. Stopping in the next room.

The next room is small. It has a save point, a piece of cheese, and a blue flower. The piece of cheese seems to have been here so long, a magical crystal has grown around it. Its stuck to a table.

Sam ignores the creepy crystallized cheese and decides to save. The box of red text appearing before them. 16 left. Sam has to sit somewhere and kill 16 more monsters. They stretch a little and sigh. They are starting to wonder how long the Underground is. Where is the way out of here?

Walking into the next area, they stop. Its a small hallway, with one grey door. There's a silence in the air and the headache begins. Something is wrong. Is this supposed to be here?
