"It sounds like it came from over here. Oh! You've fallen down haven't you? Are you okay? Here get up, Chara huh? Thats a nice name. My name is...."

Sam awakes in a bed of flowers and rubble. They rub their head as a strange memory that isn't quite theirs burns into their mind. They walk through the shallow water that surrounds them. Passing piles of garbage. Eventually reaching a save point.

They save and heal themselves from the fall and spears. They seem to still be in the Waterfall area. There are small waterfalls around them. It stinks down here, but there is a path leading east. Maybe there's a way out?

Sam follows the path as it makes a turn and heads north. They are walking in water that leads all the way to their torso. Trash is all around them. A rusted bike, a beat-up desktop computer, piles of trash.

They run into a cooler with some astronaut food inside. They throw away the bisicle they haven't eaten and replace it with astronaut food. They keep walking and spot an exit. They rush to the exit, passing a cotton dummy like the old one from the Ruins. Right before they reach the exit they feel a shaking sensation.

The cotton dummy comes to life as it turns orange and grows eyes. They dive into the water and emerge in front of Sam. The dummy floats above the water with malicious intent as they block the way.

"Hahaha. Its just like you to run away. I am a ghost that lives inside a dummy! My cousin used to live inside a dummy too. Until you came along! Not only did your actions cause them to leave their home. But now all of their neighbors are gone too! Despicable. Despicable!"

The dummy turns from orange to red as Sam grips the ballet shoes. A battle is near.

"You're the worst person I've ever met! I've never been more mad! My mannequin levels are going off the charts!!!"

Then, with a flash the dummy changes. The red is gone, and a pink blush remains. Their entire mood has done a 180.

"This... feeling. Eureka, eureka, eureka! Human. That moment of unbridled emotion. It allowed me to finally fuse with my body! I'm fully corporeal now! My lifelong dream, realized! In return, I guess I won't stomp you. How's that sound?"

A battle begins with the dummy. But the dummy seems glad to be here. They are sparing Sam without a second thought. Sam shrugs and cuts the dummy in two with the ballet shoes. The dummy dies and the battle ends. The whole fiasco was a waste of time really.

They walk through the exit and run into a save point. Checking the red text they notice the dummy counts as a kill. 11 monsters remain. They take a look around this huge room and notice many pathways. There are at least 3 paths leading north. One west and one east.

They take the eastern path and run into another box. The box is in front of a store it seems. Sam uses the box and swaps all their food around. Putting the snowman pieces away for later and keeping the old monster candy in their pockets. They enter the cave store behind the box.

Inside the cave store, is multiple jewels on the wall. There is also the symbol that's been appearing everywhere. The two wings on the circle. The three triangles. The shopkeeper is an old turtle.

Sam ignores the junk the turtle seems to be selling and decides to talk to him. They threaten him with the ballet shoes. But apparently it doesn't have much effect.

"I've lived too long to be afraid of something like you. Try it kiddo."

But as much as Sam tries, they can't start a fight with the strange turtle man. You can't fight in stores apparently, some magic that is. They leave the crummy old cave shop and continue heading east.

The hallway they ran into seems to have two waterfalls inside. All this water is seriously getting on Sam's nerves. They walk through the room to get pass the water. But a new enemy appears!

Sam turns around as a fight begins. The enemy seems to be some sort of freakish cat with hair. Its vibrating like crazy and it's face is falling off? Sam kills it in one blow. They feel EXP flow into them as their LOVE increases. They recall the red save text. Ten left right?

They sit in the water and pace back and forth. Half an hour passes as they kill monsters back and forth. Moldsmals, the weird cat things apparently are called Temmies. Aaron and Woshua's appear too. They even run into an evolved version of a Moldsmal. It was some sort of slime snake thing called a Moldbygg. But it wasn't much of a threat. They all died by Sam. Until eventually, no monsters remained.

Sam kept walking through the caves. Through a room with glowing mushrooms that light up the floor. Through a room where lanterns and crystals illuminate the darkness. Eventually they reached a pitch black room with water inside. Sam cannot see a thing. They blindly walk forward  until they run face first into one of those blue flowers.

The flower seems to be giving off a small whisper. Sam leans closer to make out the words. They shudder as they hear them.

Behind you.

They quickly turn around and Undyne is standing there! In full armour she takes a few steps toward Sam. There is no way out. She speaks deeply.

"Seven. Seven human souls. With the power of seven human souls, our king... King Asgore Dreemurr. Will become a God. With that power, Asgore can finally shatter the barrier. He will finally take the surface back from humanity... and give them back the pain and suffering that we have endured. Do you understand human? This is your only chance at redemption. Give up your soul... or I'll tear it from your body."

Undyne summons a massive glowing spear as she rushes toward Sam. Sam feels their soul glow and emerge to begin a fight. Until suddenly, a familiar voice appears.

"Undyne! I'll help you fight!"

Monster Kid runs out of the tall grass from beside the wall! They look at Undyne, then look at Sam. Oblivious to the situation.

"Yo! You did it! Undyne is right in front of you!!! You've got front row seats to her fight! But... who's she fighting?"

Undyne grabs Monster Kid by the cheek and stomps away. Dragging him with her. Monster Kid whines as he gets dragged off.

"Y-You're not gonna tell my parents about this, are you?"

Sam is safe, for now. The blue flower behind them echos Monster Kids bickering. The room is lit now and a path leading north emerges. Sam walks forward and find themselves in a hall full of the blue echoing flowers. But they are all silent. At the end of the hall is a save point. They save as the red text fades and gets replaced with the word determination.

The have a feeling the Waterfalls is about to end. As they turn east and walk across a rickety wooden bridge. Before they reach the end of the bridge they hear Monster Kid approach from behind them.

"Yo!"

Monster kid slowly walks toward Sam with a face of worry. Something is different about them.

"Yo. Undyne told me... to stay away from you. She said you... hurt a lot of people. But, yo, that's not true right!?"

Sam faces away from Monster Kid and the bridge is silent. This kid is being quite annoying. Following them around this cave for hours. Bickering about Undyne non stop.

"Yo... why wont you answer me? W-whats with that weird expression?"

Sam takes an angry srep toward Monster Kid. Monster Kid backs away in fear.

"Oh. Oh man..."

Monster Kid whispers to themselves before they turn to face Sam.

"Yo... y-you better stop right where you are! Cause if you wanna hurt anyone else... you're... You're gonna have to get through me first."

Sam's soul flickers to life and a fight begins. A voice in the back of their head emerges and whispers inside Sam's mind.

"He's in our way... kill him."

Sam pushes the fight button and brings the sharp ballet shoes crashing down upon Monster Kid. This is the only way.
