Becoming Friends - Nightwing

It was nine at night and the usually dark Gotham City had grown darker. You were just leaving a friends house when you realised that you needed to go to the shop for electric. You sighed the only shop that was open was the garage that you were attacked in just a few nights ago.

Walking into the store you quickly picked up some food and a bottle of pop before paying for them and some electric. The shopkeeper seemed to be in a better mood since the attack, he was smiling again which was a good thing. You smiled back before leaving the garage.

As you were walking home, the feeling that someone was following you began to creep up your back causing you to shiver. After five minutes the feeling hadn't went away and it was beginning to annoy you.

"For all things holy show your damn face you coward!" You shouted to the empty street.

For a minute everything seemed to stand still until a figure jumped down from one of the buildings in front of you. The same man who saved you from the shop was stood in front of you smirking.

"You know you have a lot of guts shouting out like that. You don't know who it could be."

You rolled your eyes at him, "I don't care I can handle myself. You need to in this city, you can't always rely on someone else to save you."

You started to walk back home and then you realise that the stranger called um what did that kid call him last time Nightwing was following you. You stopped to look at the man who was smiling at you.

"Of course Nightwing. You may follow me home, I don't mind." You tried to hold in your llaughter as you looked at the hero's surprised face. Within a few minutes your laughter came bursting out and the hero seemed even more surprised. Once you finished laughing you said,

"I'm sorry but your face."

Nightwing just crossed his arms and huffed, "Is this the way you people that have saved your life?"

You shook your head, small chuckles still escaping your mouth before walking again. "You coming?" You smiled when you realised that he was following you again.

You finally made in home safely and turned to your protector, "Do you want to come in and watch some movies?"

His face lighten up at the offer, "Hm, well I'm supposed to be on patrol but I think Bats has everything covered."

You let Nightwing in before shutting the door. You spent the night laughing at corny jokes that were said and at some of the acting on screen.
