"You've got a way to keep me on your side. You give me cause for love that I can't hide. For you I know I'd even try to turn the tide. Because you're mine, I walk the line." ~ Halsey (I Walk The Line)

Thea's PoV
I flinched as another Savior smashed something of ours in the next room. On Rick's orders, Carl and I retired to my room with Judith. I clenched my fists in anger. It was completely unnecessary for them to destroy everything they come across in their search for Daryl. I'm sure this wasn't even Negan's order. Simon is just a major dick.
"If we ever get the chance. I'm killing Simon first," I grumbled, peeking out the window to see most of them retreating to the gates empty handed. A smirk rose to my face when they didn't find Daryl hiding out in Alexandria.
"I have first dibs," Carl piped up. I glanced back at him and shrugged. As long as he dies.
"Your dad is a terrible liar by the way," I added, turning away from the window. Carl let out a small chuckle.
"Good thing Simon isn't very smart," he smiled. I nodded. I heard the gate close and sighed in relief. Carl opened the door and carefully stepped out with Judith in his arms. I followed out after him, taking calculated steps to avoid the glass that was scattered all over the carpet. Shelves were tipped over, paper shredded, anything loose was knocked over. I grumbled under my breath and cleared a path to Judith's room.
"Carl! Thea! We're heading out! Let's go!" Rick yelled up to us. Carl gave me a look and quickly put Judith in her crib. After she was secure, we went down the stairs and exited the house.
"I bet the next candy bar we find the we're going to search for Gabriel," I whispered to Carl as we approached our group that was piling back into the car. Rick turned to us just as he threw a bag into the trunk.
"We need to find Gabriel. Find out what happened," Rick announced. I turned to give Carl a smug look, and he groaned. "We only have one room for one more..."
"I'll go. I'm the best tracker you got with Daryl gone," I volunteered. Rick nodded and got into the drivers seat without another word.
"I'll be back!" I called to Carl over my shoulder as I opened the back door.
"That's all I get?" he asked, sounding a bit crestfallen. I turned around just before sitting down and kissed the palm of my hand, before throwing it out to him dramatically. He made no move to receive my blown kiss to him, and I frowned mockingly.
"That's why you don't get more, Carl. Act alive," I advised, before sliding into the seat next to Aaron and shutting the door. Rick started the vehicle and made it through the gates of Alexandria.

"You know, living out in water doesn't seem like a bad idea. Why haven't we tried living out at sea... or lake?" I asked no one in particular, staring out at the little boat in the pond surrounded by floating walkers.
"We have a lot of people," Rick answered.
"And no boat," Aaron added.
"It's the apocalypse. I'm sure we could find one," I mumbled to myself.
"Aren't you supposed to be helping us track Gabriel and not just sit around?" Rosita snapped. I glared at her, but got to work nonetheless. She's been in a hostile mood ever since Abraham was killed and Eugene was taken. I guess I couldn't really blame her. They were her original group members, and now they were both gone, Eugene maybe as permanent as Abraham.
