I heard the toilet flush and nearly fell, again, when Blue opened the door. Shit, I forgot she was in here. This situation just got a 1000x worse.
"Sorry." Blue apologized to me, before glancing at Gina. I stood in front of her protectively. I sure as hell couldn't let anything happen to her, for my sake and Beyoncé and Jay's sake. Blue didn't need to be involved in this mess at all. I had to do whatever I needed to, to make sure she stayed safe and unharmed.
"Wash your hands and don't say anything." I told Blue quietly, walking her over to the sink. I stood close by as she washed her hands and looked at Gina wearily.
"Well that's pretty rude, don't you think?" Gina said to me with a frown. I sighed, shaking my head a little. Why can't she just go away? This wasn't the time or place.
"Why are you here?" I asked. There was no point in beating around the bush, we needed to clear things up so she could leave. Like, is she asking to be arrested? Did she think coming here was smart? With Beyoncé and Jay in the same building?
This really made zero sense but I couldn't do anything about it, so I might as well let her explain whatever she had to. We did have a serious history, after all.
Gina took a step closer to me and I took a step back, bumping into Blue. I murmured an apology and felt around to make sure I hadn't knocked her over. Gina was getting a little too close for my liking.
"Why are you acting like this?" She genuinely seemed upset, but that's not my problem. This was the mess she made, not mine. Plus, she can't blame me for not wanting to be around her right now. On top of everything she's done, she couldn't have decided to pop up at a worse time. I had Blue to worry about too, I couldn't deal with her crazy. "Bella."
"Please leave." I said softly. Blue finished drying her hands and stood behind me awkwardly. Good, she needed to be as far from Gina as possible. I knew Beyoncé would skin Gina alive if she touched Blue, and while I wanted Gina to leave, I didn't want her to die. That's a little too harsh for me.
Gina looked at me sadly before, of course, looking down at Blue. "Hey sweetie." She smiled and waved. Blue, being as well mannered as she is, reluctantly waved back. Nope, this was not about to happen.
"Stop." I snapped softly. "Don't talk to her. You need to leave before someone comes in here. This was a really stupid thing to do, coming here when you know my family's here. What were you thinking?"
I saw something change in Gina's eyes and she went from being sad and hurt to fuming and pissed in a matter of seconds. She stepped forward and grabbed my arm before I could get back, making me yelp. Damn, she has a strong grip. "Who the hell do you think you're talking to?" Gina yelled at me.
I tried prying my arm out of her grip but failed. When I say she was holding on tight, I mean it. Like, there's going to be marks on my forearms tomorrow. It hurt. "Let me go." I pleaded, trying to use whatever strength I had left in me to get away. I couldn't let this happen again, especially not now.
"Bella..." I heard Blue's soft voice from behind me. Shit, why do I keep forgetting about her?! I had to think quick. I distracted Gina by kicking her in the shin (as hard as I could) before looking at Blue.
"Run Blue!" I yelled, holding Gina back long enough for Blue to run out of the restroom. Thank God, if anything else, she would be safe. That's all I wanted. "Ouch!" I hissed a few seconds later. I looked up at Gina in shock. She just slapped the shit out of me and she didn't look like she regretted it one bit.
