Beyoncé

"I know what you're hiding."

I quickly looked over at Solange and frowned. "What am I hiding?"

"Bey, I know you." Solange raised her brow at me. I raised my brow back and waited for her to continue. "You're pregnant, aren't you?"

"I–" I bit my lip and sighed while Solange started acting a fool, shrieking all loud and shit. "Will you shut up?" I laughed, lightly smacking her arm.

Solange calmed down but kept smiling. I couldn't help but smile too. "Sorry, I'm just excited for you. I can't believe I'm gonna be an auntie to three."

"Me either." I chuckled. "When are you gonna let me be an auntie to more than just Julez? How come I'm the one having all the babies?"

Solange scoffed. "Girl, who knows. I'm content with just my son right now, I don't need anymore." I shrugged and Solange grinned. "Have you told mama yet?"

I shook my head. "No. I haven't told anyone. So you better keep your mouth shut." I raised my brow, narrowing my eyes. "I don't want anyone to know until I've told Jay and the girls."

"When do you plan on telling them?"

"Soon." I shrugged. "Maybe tonight, I don't know. I'm just tired of keeping it a secret. But who knows, I'm still figuring it out."

"Hmm, aight." Solange nodded. "How far along are you?"

"Almost ten weeks." I smiled.

"Well, you're glowing." I bit my lip and smiled, nodding. "I don't know how Jay hasn't noticed yet. I mean I'm your sister, so I know you better than anyone, but he's your husband. He's the one who sees you the most." Solange stated.

My smile quickly disappeared. "I actually haven't seen him much in the past couple of weeks. He says he's been working on something at Roc, but I think he's lying." I sighed.

"You wanna find out?" Solange asked quickly. I frowned and waited for her to continue. "Girl, let's follow him! Ain't no reason for you to be guessing your husband's whereabouts."

"No." I quickly shook my head. "I'm trying to trust him again, and that would only set me further back. I don't want to do that."

"Beyoncé!" Solange groaned and I rolled my eyes. "Come on, what if he's out there doing some sneaky shit? What if he's still messing with Gina? Huh? Then what?"

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"Drop it." I said lowly. Solange shook her head but I didn't care, I didn't even want to think about Jay and Gina together. The betrayal is just..... I haven't been able to let it go yet. That's what I'm struggling the most with forgiving Jay. I can't let that go.

"Fine." Solange grabbed her purse and stood up.

"Where are you going?" I asked, following her out of the living room and through the foyer. She stopped in front of the door and turned around to look at me.

"I have some things I need to do. I'll be back for dinner tonight." Solange told me. I nodded and watched her walk out the door with a small frown.
