Ch 7: Hiccup vs Jack

Hiccups POV

As 4th period ended me and Astrid got our bags and started heading towards the door. As we walked next to one another hand in hand we were stopped by a couple. "Uhhh excuse me please, me and my girlfriend here need to get to lunch, you know how it is ummm........." I say forgetting his name. "Jack, Jack Frost" the silver haired boy said to me with arms crossed. "Oh Jack yeah I remember you, you helped me on my first day to get my things. well nice seeing you, me and my girl need are food ." I say to him with a laugh as I gently push him out the way. As I past I notice that beside Jack, a girl with platinum blonde hair and almost same complexion as Jack was looking at us. "Um hi" I say as I past with Astrid holding my hand but the girl just looked at us. "Elsa ......." Astrid said to the girl as she passes her "Astrid" the girl known as Elsa said to Astrid coldly as we left the classroom.

Now away from the class and that weird couple that seemed not to like us. I asked Astrid "ummm Astrid what was that all about back there?" I asked her since I was completely clueless what happened back there. "Ohhh uhhh Hiccup I don't know how explain this but that couple back there was Berk Highs most popular couple" Astrid says. To even add more confusion to my situation Astrid gave me that answer. "Uhh so why were they acting that way back there though?" I ask her. "Well because Ruff told me this by the way that those two are kinda losing popularity due to us being together. So there ship known as Jelsa is a mixture of Jack and Elsa, is losing popularity while the ship people are naming us now known as Hiccstrid due to Ruff naming us that we are gaining what they are losing" Astrid fully explains to me. I just looked at her before laughing in her face about the whole thing. I laughed so long that I didn't fully stop till me and Astrid were in the cafeteria.

Astrid's POV

Hiccup really thinks this is all a joke but it's not. Those two are notorious for being the most popular couple in Berk High and they would do anything to stay at the top. Uhhh Hiccup why are you being so optimistic about this it's not going to be well now that Jack and Elsa have their eyes set on us as a threat to there popularity. Hiccup kept laughing as we walked he just thought it was that funny and everybody who saw him laughing thought he was crazy for a bit till he stopped to wipe a tear. "Ahhh that's funny Astrid it really is." He says as we took are seats in our usual tables. "Hiccup it's not I'm being serious those two would do anything to keep there popularity on a all time high." I say giving him a annoyed look. That's when Ruff came and sat down across us and asked "hey you two I see your a thing now but what's all the fuss?" Ruffnut asked. "Well Hiccup here thinks that Jack and Elsa being mad that we are the new couple of Berk isn't going to be a bad thing." I say to Ruffnut crossing my arms. "It's not going to be a bad thing Astrid I don't care if they dont like that we are together and I don't care if us being together makes us popular I just want to be with you and only you!" Hiccup says gleefully. And a crowd of girls who heard that started fangirling over Hiccups statement. Uhhh shippers I hate this already Ruff just glanced at us before saying "looks like you guys have Hiccstrid shippers already" Ruff says with a smile. "Uhhhh I dont want shippers....." i say annoyed "I actually find it kinda cute though only to a certain point but I feel it can be annoying though" Hiccup says. Even though he kinda agreed with me the fact he kinda likes our shippers annoys me uhh I'm calling them 'our' shippers now I don't even want shippers. "Well I'm glad you like us shippers Hiccup we love you and Astrid being together." Ruffnut says with a proud look to us. I just growl at Ruff in annoyance while Hiccup just says "awwww your welcome Ruff." He says in a playful kid tone. "Uhhh Hiccup dont encourage her it's getting annoying" I say to him as I punch him in the shoulder. "Ok ok jeez no need for violence Astrid I get Ok!" Hiccup says as he rubs his shoulder. "Good now can we please just talk about something else please?" I ask them both. Ruff was about to say something but she looked at me and Hiccup and then looked past us. "Ruff are going to say something or are you going to stare?" Hiccup asks her. "Yeah what's up Ruff why so quiet now?" I ask her. But instead of saying something she just points timidly to someone behind us.
