Ch 54: The Fallen Rise...

Hiccups POV

I was helped by Astrid as I slowly but surely entered the house, she helped all the way to the couch where she set me down to sit next to her. As she did though my head started to throb horribly making me grab my head as I sat.

"Gahh!" I let out as I was next to Astrid. "Hiccup are you Ok???" Astrid asked me, she put her hand on my shoulder. "It's my head it hurts so much..." I say through the pain. "Here take this son." My mom says as she unexpectedly hands me some pain killers. "It'll help with your head pains." Mom says as I took the pills and swallowed them with the water she also handed me.

After I did my dad came into the room. "Ok son here it is." Dad says as he turns on the t.v. As he did I see all over the t.v was news reporters. "A few days before today we at Berk High saw one of the greatest games in schools History." A female reporter said as clips of the game was being played for the viewers to watch.

"Hiccup Haddock only a junior this year had rallied his team 'The Berk Nightfuries' to the greatest comeback in what had to be Football History." Said the female reporter. "Hiccup son of the legendary Stoick Haddock has become a sensation throughout the town of Berk and a rising star in our state of Washington." I looked to Astrid and smirkedand said, "You hear that I'm famous." I teased her. She rolled her eyes and said "don't let that go to your head dork." She says back grabbing me by the collar for a kiss.

The kiss felt so longed for as we did, we were brought out of our romantic moment when we heard the news lady say something that caught both of our ears. "But with only now 3 days remaining Hiccup Haddock will be going up against long time rivals 'Berserker High' a team of string and hard hitting defensive players and a smash nose offense that only can be classified as a old school football."

We both watched as Highlight clips of our soon to be opponents rolled. There team was vicious to the very bone. There team had no care for there opponents hitting them so hard some were carted off the field....... but those were the lucky ones..... the worse was when one of the opposing players of Berserker High was killed in a head on head collsion with none other then ....Dagur.....

Ruthless as a bloodthirsty beast of a man. This guy loves nothing but pain and suffering of others. Then as the highlights were done we saw Dagur about to receive and interview from the reporter.

"And now I'm joined Berserker High's Football standout, Dagur." The reporter says as she shakes Dagur hand. "Thanks for having me." Dagur said. "So David your team, the Berserkers have been undefeated for the whole regular season now and into the play offs. What do you belive is your teams success?" Asked the reporter.

Dagur smiled that inanse look and said, "well I believe my team is the best team in the whole state and well we are a aggressive team that will never let up on our opponents and I believe no team can beat us and well.... not even the son of the legend himself can beat us. Hiccup Haddock." Dagur said as he looked at the camera.

"Are you saying that Hiccup Haddock is not a opponent that will pose a threat or even a fight when he and his team versuses you this Friday. Dagur laughed and said "well for all I know he got rocked his last game and is probably not 100 percent or even 80 percent at that matter now, so overall I believe he won't even play Friday." Dagur said as he jogged to practice with his team.

I gripped the side couch in anger .... I'm going to play and I'm going to beat his team... Astrid noticed my anger which made her feel uncomfortable and asked, "Hiccup.... are you Ok?" She asked as she put her hand on my shoulder. I looked at her with anger still in my eyes....

But her touch calmed me down ,"yeah I'm ok I'm just frustrated that's all." I told her she gave a sigh and smiled at me. "It's ok Hiccup let's move our mind onto other things." Astrid told me as she turned off the t.v. As she did my dad said, "yes let's do that well for now just rest son, while I go to work." Dad says putting on his jacket.

As he did I stood up with enough strength I could to hug my dad before he left. To my dad's surprise he hesitated before hugging back. We never said anything back to one another because we were like that as father and son.

He then turned to his wife and kissed mom on the cheek like always but she and Angela went out as well. "Mom are you going to work to?" I asked seeing her step out. "Oh no I'm not me and Angela here are going to do some catching up you two stay here." Mom said as she and Angela left.

"Oh.... Ok then looks like we have the whole house to us." I said as I turned to Astrid. I walked over to her slowly, "want to go to my room babe?" I asked Astrid as I held put my hand. "Of course" she grinned at me. I do have to say despite all this stressful things happen to me. I can always rely on Astrid being the person to always light up my world.

As we came to my room Astrid stopped me and said, "Hiccup I know you've been all busy and stuff but I need to tell you something." Astrid said As she held my hand now. "I've... missed... you and I've miss the ...." I cut her off swiftly for my body and mind knew what she meant by kissing hard on the lips.

As we separated from it I held her by the waist pulling her closer before saying, "I've missed you too... Astrid and I know I missed it too." I told her before bringing her inside my room for our fun.
