Ch 18: Practice

Hiccups POV

Waking up from last night was bit of challenge if I say so myself. The reason is because one the bed was so comfartbale and Astrid chest area were like pillows when I was laying down, two because I was so tired from yesterday and socializing with people, and three because Astrid and Toothless were snuggling against me and not letting me go again. Ahhh as much I love this I really need to go and try out for football today. My first attempt was very unsuccessful as I tried to get out Astrid kept pulling me back down with her very surprising strength "Hmmm 10 more minutes Hicc, Asty wants more snuggle" Astrid tells me in a really cute but sleepy voice. "Huh come on babe I need to go I'll be late for the practice for the football team." I try to tell her but she just snuggled into my chest more. "No Asty wants Hiccy to stay with Asty Art in bed." Astrid says pouting like a little baby but dammit is it so cute. "Come on Astrid you can come with and watch them after I'll take you out to eat what about that?" I ask her. She layed still for a second before saying "Hmmm anywhere I want???" She ask back and I just laugh and say "yes anywhere you want cutie of course." I tell her and she jumped out a bed and stated in a loud suprsing voice. "Ok then let's go Hiccup you got practice let hurry" she says real energetic. "Wow so that's one way to wake up a Astrid note taken hahaha" I say laughing.

After that I got dressed and put my things in a bag for later I also brought my old soccer cleats that I used to wear for soccer back in Cali I really liked playing it was fun and I was actually kinda good when I was playing. I just wore a simple gym outfit shorts and a tank top and a gym sweater since it was kinda cold. Astrid was already ready she wore her regular running outfit since I think she was going to be practicing with the girls on the track. We headed down stairs only to meet my mom and dad drinking some coffee. "Oh hello you two have a nice night?" My mom asked with a raised eyebrow. "Yeah we actually slept really good last night." Astrid says. "Hmm I see so where are you two going now?" My dad asked. "Well we are going to the school I'm going to try out for football." I tell them. My dad's eyes widen and stood up and walked up to me and hugged me really hard "hahaha my boy is joining the team like his old man I'm so proud of you son." He says still squeezing the life out of me. "Dad....... air..... please......" I tell him and he relunctly let me go thank the God's he did though. "So what made you want to play football all of sudden son??" Dad asks me. "Well after watching the game last night I felt kinda inspired to play." I say scratching the back of my neck. "Ahhh I see well I'm glad you are finding a passion son, now go on you two don't be late." Dad tells us and we both turn heading to the door. But suddenly my mom stopped us saying "You keep them girls away from my boy Astrid I only want one step daughter!!!" She yells as we are almost through the door. I blushed in embarrassment as Astrid just turned around and said "Of course Mrs. Haddock no girl will get near him". Astrid says giving my mom a thumbs up which she also gives back. Once out the door and away from my parents Astrid and I looked at one another she smiled at me since I was still blushing like tomato.  "Ahhhh is little Hiccup blushing from earlier?" Astrid teased me. "No I'm not at all stop it." I say a bit annoyed. "Ahhh poor little Hiccy is embarrassed. " Astrid says nudging me in the side still teasing me as we pass Ruff and Tuffs house as we pass I noticed Ruff just there Chillen looking out her window bored. I grinned at the thought in my head to get back at Astrid. "Hey Ruff!!!" I yell at her getting her attention. "Oh Hiccup what's up?" She says back. "Want a picture for your fan club?" I ask her and a confused Astrid asked "Hiccup what are you doing?" She says and I just grin as I'm looking at Ruff unknown to Astrid. "Take a picture of this." I say, turning to Astrid and grabbing her by the waist "Hiccup what are you doing????" Astrid asks confused and I just whisper in her ear silently "getting you back for teasing me." I tell her before I dipped her and kissed her passionately on the lips. I could hear the gasps of Ruffnut as she took pictures of us. After I finished embarrassing Astrid we left the scene as fast we can I turned to the now quiet Astrid and said "you going to tease me in the future again?" I ask her and she just punched me in the arm and said "shut up you embarrassed me back there so we are even then." She says not looking at me but I could tell she was blushing. I just laughed it off and held her hand as we got closer to the school's field.
