Roaring traffic, bright street lights, busy sidewalks, all aspects of the big city. The city everyone knows as relatively peaceful. But is it really? Ha... not even close. No one knows who or what we are, what we do, what role we actually play. Those who do get the opportunity to know what really happens behind this big city, well, god rest their souls.

We are the shadows, we are the dark. Go unnoticed to all except each other of course. That's the problem you see, not all of us are to be considered "allies." We are very aware of each other's presence and are unwilling to communicate. We have been around for centuries. We agree on very few values and fight over petty things. It's in our nature, it's in our blood. The desire to be better, the desire to out due the enemy, is a desire not easily overcome.

In the past we have tried to put differences aside and have peace among the four territories but unfortunately it ended bloody. So, to avoid even more blood from being wasted we choose not to speak and simply make little jabs at each other.

We are the four groups, some refer to us as "gangs", that control the city from the shadows. We are the darker half to the seemingly big, bright, and high functioning city.

I am the leader of Fukurodani, and I can't say I have strong feelings against or for other groups. I tend to stay on the neutral side of things and not associate myself with fighting. I tend to want to keep my numbers high and deaths low because what's a gang without members? Do not mistake my want for neutrality as weakness. I will fight. I just don't involve myself. But, mark me when I say I am more than willing if it becomes necessary for me  fight.

"Akaashi!" someone yells as they slam on the door.

"What is it?" I answer in an aggravated tone. I like my people, I honestly do, but I lead with a firm hand, and this behavior makes me want to shoot someone. Don't test me.

"I just wanted to say hi..." it was Bokuto. Big surprise...

"Come in," I sigh and he bounds in.

Bokuto Kotarou, highest (second to me of course) ranking member of fukurodani, simply because he has remained the most loyal. A few years ago we had a scare wear a group of members tried to divulge very important info to a rivaling gang, and let me tell you not one of them live to tell the tale. Bokuto helped me out the most with that so he was rewarded.

"So I was thinking..." he begins.

It is never good when Bokuto-san begins "thinking." I simply put down the pen I was writing with, push my papers aside, adjust my suit, and lean back because this is going to take awhile.

I stared at my papers and sighed

I stared at my papers and sighed. Damn I am supposed to be the smartest here but these plans just aren't coming together. I pull my hair back and adjust my tie because I am going to be here a lot longer than expected.

"Aw what's wrong kitten, that big brain of yours not working the way you want?" a familiar voice said as the came up behind me.

"Fuck off Kuroo..." I whisper-yelled, still trying to focus on the plans.
He walks from behind my chair to the front of my desk and sits in one of the chairs.

"Oh, the Kitten is feisty today, hm? Who pulled your tale?" He continued the stupid cat jokes.

I finally looked up glaring at him. My golden eyes filling with annoyance.

"Fine you have my attention what can I help you with?" I reply with a bitter voice.

"Calm down, I just came in to see how your plans were coming."

I sigh at the mention of the said "plans." I don't know what to say honestly because they aren't coming together very well. Before I continue, let me introduce myself. I am Kozume Kenma, leader of Nekoma, one of the four gangs of the city. We do not remain neutral. I believe neutrality is weakness, but I know not all the leaders agree with me... It is not that I do not wish for peace, I would like peace, but unfortunately as long as other gangs throw little jabs at me I can not ensure peace.  I am not very well built for fighting physically, but when it comes to strategizing and planning I am the most valuable. I am the heart and brain of Nekoma.

These plans that I am supposed to be working on are huge. I will not take another jab from Karasuno, we can't take another. Those damn crows have made it their life's mission to take us off the map. Why target us? I am not sure, but they will soon learn how big a mistake it is.

"They're.... Coming?" I say with uncertainty.

"You have nothing do you?"

I sigh.

"Well it's not that, I know for certain I am taking out the leader and nothing more, but how I am to do that I am not sure."

"Kenma are you insane?! Taking out their leader will certainly cause more fighting than there is now. When have you known any gang to just accept someone killing their leader!" He says paranoid.

I sigh again except this time  because now I have to explain myself, and I hate that.

"Just shut up and listen to me. I will kill their leader because I know exactly who the current leader will choose, and I know that person will not be able to stand against our group. So, yes, it's a risky plan, but I believe the end result will be worth more." I gave a very brief description of the beginning of my plan.

"Plus," I stand and walk towards him. I stand in front of him and pull his tie down forcefully so his forehead is practically touching mine.

"Have I ever lead you or the gang the wrong way?"

"No," he sputters out, and pushes me back.

"Good, now leave me to finish these in peace and next time, Kuroo, knock." I say as I walk back to my desk.

"Whatever, Kitten..." he murmurs cheeks still as red as his tie and walks out of my office. A satisfied smirk played on my face.

Now, where was I?
