Pan had had enough of (Y/N)'s bickering. Always wanting to go home. But althought Pan was willing to let her go, he didn't want anyone thinking he had a soft side. Pan was a boy of mischief and games. He believed he needed a contest. One nearly impossible to win. He offered this to (Y/N) who at first turned him down on the offer but once she learned of what the prize was, she accepted. The game would be a simple one, a game even the smallest of children knew. The game would be hide and seek. (Y/N)'s prize of course, the chance to return home. Pan didn't know what he wanted in return but he figured he'd think of something when the time came. All (Y/N) had to do was find Pan in under 24 hours. She knew this would be complex, Peter knew every single inch of the island. Every tree, every body of water, every person that was on the island, and even where every animal was. He was incredibly brilliant when it came to hiding which would make it quite difficult for (Y/N) to find him. Peter hid only minutes before dawn, when (Y/N) would start her mission to find Pan. The second the sun rose (Y/N) was off to find Pan. She knew this was risky. She believed Pan knew what he was doing, she never doubted him for a second. She looked for footprints but then came to the realization Pan probably flew to wherever he would be hiding. Little did she know that Pan was on the other side of the island. He was hidden in a large pile of leaves near the tree where the pixies lived. His clothing acted as camouflage and he believed even Tinkerbell couldn't find him here. (Y/N) continued her search for Peter. She followed her heart and let it lead her as a compass to wherever Peter was. She couldn't help but wonder where he'd been hiding. She knew Pan was a boy, he didn't mind getting dirty. She believed he was probably hidden on the ground somewhere. (Y/N) used to hunt with her father back at home and knew a thing or two about finding animals.. In this case, it was Peter Pan. She thought of the dark and faded green shirt and pants he wore. They had browned from dirt over time and would fit in perfectly with the scenery. By this time, it was nearly noon and the sun had drifted over her head casting a dark shadow onto the forest floor. She was getting sick of walking around aimlessly looking for Peter. She closed her eyes and listened. She heard a slight twinkling of bells. The Fairies. They might know where Peter is. The fairies had no clue of their bet and she figured one of them could guide her to Pan. She followed the sound of twinkling and kept her eyes closed. She was guided only by the sound. The sound grew closer and closer to the spot she was at. She took a slow step and when she stepped she heard someone cry out. She gasped and opened her eyes to see a young boy covered in leaves and dirt. He looked surprised as he wiped the dirt away from his face to show he was no more than Peter Pan. "How did you know it was me?" He asked (Y/N) puzzled. "I didn't. I just so happened to come across you." (Y/N) admitted. Peter looked disappointed in himself which really was a sight to see. Peter Pan, as cocky as he was, disappointed in himself?! Never! "So I guess I'll have to take you home now." He griped angrily. Peter was stubborn and his fierce attitude frightened (Y/N) but she stayed brave. "Well, I have one more deal that I'd like to offer." (Y/N) said proudly although she was shaking in her boots. Pan looked puzzled once again and he opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. Deep down (Y/N) had wanted to kiss Pan. She didn't love him per se but she had a soft spot for him deep down in her heart. Whenever he looked at her in a loving and caring way it made her heart melt. Pan acted differently with her than anyone else. Deep down I think he loved her too, but he'd never admit to anything so childish and foolish. "Love is a myth!" He would say. Everytime he would say those words (Y/N) would cringe. She was a hopeless romantic and believed in nothing more. Now she had her chance to show her affection with Peter. He couldn't stop her. She'd won his silly game. "I'd like to share a kiss with you also." She said blushing wildly. Her cheeks were a crimson red and her lips curled into a smirk. Peter's heart was beating faster than it ever had in his entire life. (Which had been many, many years.) Peter had never shown any affection with a girl. Hell, he'd never really known one until know. And here he was standing there like an idiot standing in front of (Y/N) this way. The boys would've laughed at him. For this kind of behavior was only something for a girl. (Y/N) was experiencing similar nervousness as she stepped closer to Peter. Her left hand reached out to grab his and he slowly took it. Butterflies filled (Y/N)'s stomach just at the thought of kissing him. It was wrong for her to have such thoughts of kissing him all the time. She was a lady! But here she was only moments away from kissing the handsome boy in front of her. "Peter, have you kissed a girl before?" (Y/N) asked. "Only my mother." Pan said although he wasn't even sure of that. (Y/N) laughed at his awkwardness towards the subject and leaned in closer to him. Her eyes were closed slightly and she didn't close them completely until their lips touched. This wasn't (Y/N)'s first kiss she'd ever shared but it felt somehow different from the rest. Pan didn't really know how to react. He kissed her back nervously but kept hid hands to his sides. He took note of (Y/N) closing her eyes and did the same. He felt an erupting feeling of happiness inside of him as (Y/N) continued kissing him. When they pulled back from the kiss they were both breathless. (Y/N) giggled at Peter's rosy red cheeks. His eyes were wide with unknowing and he almost looked frightened. (Y/N) held his hand and he physically relaxed. "So, you ready to go home?" Pan asked breaking the beautiful silence. (Y/N) shook her head. "I don't want to leave you." She whispered. Kissing him had exposed that he had affection for her also and she thought she might love him. "But I thought you wanted to get home?" Pan asked confused. He had no knowledge of love nor how it worked. "I do but home is wherever those you love are. Pan, do you love me?" (Y/N) asked in all seriousness. He thought a moment. Love was foolish. He believed in no such thing. He didn't know what to call that feeling he'd just felt. The only word he could describe the alien feeling with was love. He decided that he did love (Y/N). "Yes I do." Pan answered. He looked at (Y/N) in a way he'd never looked at anyone before. She smiled happily. "I love you too."
