You were at the fair with a group of friends. They had kept trying to convince you to get on the ferris wheel ALL day but you didn't do heights. Eventually they gave up trying. As you were talking to one of your friends, you noticed her glancing over your shoulder. "What?" You asked. You barely look over your shoulder when you see Robbie coming your way. You turn around knowing he wasn't coming for you. Why would he? You had liked him a long time but you were so nervous to talk to him you hardly ever had. "He's coming over here.." You friend mumbled. She nudges you before disappearing into the crowd. You felt embarrassed and looked for a way to get out.. You felt a tap on your shoulder and turned around. Robbie was standing there with a half smirk on his face. "Hey (Y/N)." He said with a voice as sweet as honey. "Hi." You blushed. You tucked a piece of hair behind your ear as nervous habit. "Would you want to go on the ferris wheel with me? I've been looking for you all day." He said. You felt sick to your stomach about the ferris wheel part but the part about him looking for you all day gave you butterflies in your stomach. "Let's go then!" You grinned. You followed him to the ticket booth line and silently prayed the line would take a long time. It didn't. Within minutes you were near the front of the line for the ferris wheel. You laughed and talked the entire time you waited. You almost forgot about the fact you were almost on the ferris wheel. Several minutes passed and they were boarding you onto the two-person seat. You were okay, until it started moving. You automatically gripped the metal railing tightly as you rose into the air. You had to resist closing your eyes. You were on the ride with ROBBIE. Nothing could mess that up. He was talking but you could hardly hear him over your heartbeat... and then you stopped at the top. You closed your eyes and sucked in a deep breath. "(Y/N) are you okay?" Robbie asked. You shook your head and tears threatened to fall from your eyes. You were just embarrassing yourself.. "Really? I hate heights. I only rode this cause I thought you'd like it. Gosh, I'm sorry. You should've told me." You looked at Robbie for the first time and noticed his hands gripping the railing so tightly his knuckles turned white. "Well, I know something that can distract us both?" You suggested. You felt your stomach jump at what you were about to do but it was your chance. "What?" Robbie asked looking over at you. You slowly lean over and he does the same. Your lips meet slowly and once they do you feel a tingling in your body. You smile into the kiss and Robbie twists a piece of your hair into a curl. You hadn't even realized the ride had started to move again. When you pulled back you were smiling like crazy. Robbie actually liked YOU.
