"Oh come on. You did not." I said grinning.

"Well, actually, I did." Robbie said laughing. I watched his eyes sparkle with the Christmas lights that surrounded the room. He brought his coffee to his lips and took a sip.

"My worst Christmas gift was a pair of shoes my great aunt got me.. They were hideous to start off, and they weren't even my size." I said laughing. "But I didn't ask her to return them like you did." Robbie shrugged sheepishly and we both laughed.

"I left my present for the secret santa out in the car. Would you go with me?" Robbie asked. It was freezing but I didn't want to pass up any second I could spend with him. I just wished he was mine.. We went out to his car and he checked the trunk.

"I left it at home. Would you mind driving with me? Damnit I'm sorry." He apologized. I laughed.

"Robbie, seriously I don't mind." I got in the passengers seat and turned on the radio. It has started snowing only slightly and a few flurries covered the windshield. I turned the station to play Christmas music and began humming along to the song. Robbie had gotten in the car and started driving. I was really caught up in the song and wasn't paying much attention. When I looked out the window I noticed something.

"Robbie, this is the wrong direction to your place." I said. He nodded.

"Mhm." He mumbled. I raised my eyebrow but said nothing. I closed my eyes and tried to focus on the music and not on whatever scheme he was planning. I heard the car slowing down and figured there was a slick spot but when I opened my eyes we were on the side of the road in a quiet neighborhood.

"This neighborhood has the best lights. I grew up out here." He said getting out of the car. He got in the trunk and got a big coat out and motioned for me to come over. He put it on me and grinned. "I wasn't sure I'd get you out here with this weather but I wanted you to see this.. Plus you look beautiful with snow in your hair." I felt my cheeks blush and I prayed he wouldn't notice due to the darkness.

He lead the way through the subdivision telling me stories of his favorite Christmas memories and I watched the look on his face as he told them. He looked so damn happy and he could go on and on. I fell in love with the way he looked right now. He looked as if he was anywhere else. He looked like he was worry free and careless. In the middle of one of his stories with his sisters I was staring into his eyes and he was looking at the lights. His eyes met mine a few times and he started to slow down his talking. As he got to the end of hid story his eyes met mine and he trailed off into silence.

"I-" he started but shutup. He tilted my chin so his lips would meet mine and he kissed me. His soft lips lightly brushed my own in a gentle manner. It was beautiful and loving. He stepped back nervously and scratched behind his ear.

"I'm sorry about-" I kissed his cheek softly.

"Shutup." I giggled.
