Dylan's POV

I found out pretty quickly that Lola loved to sing and play guitar and has from a very young age, she writes her own music, though she doesn't tell many people that and made me pinky promise not to tell anyone I wouldn't trust my life with.

She absolutely loves nutella with almost anything but given the choice prefers to eat it out of the jar with a spoon. If she could only eat pizza for the rest of her it would have to be cheese or Pepperoni and anyone who eats anything else isn't human in her opinion. In school she excelled in Math and Science but spent all her free time in the music room with friends.

She can skate and works in a movie and music rental store with a friend and she was born in London.

"Do you have any brothers or sisters?" I asked blowing on the coffee she had just bought for me.

"No, I don't, it's just me," she sighed, content with opening herself up to me.

"Doesn't that get boring?" I frowned leaning back on my elbows.

"All the time, you're lucky you had your sister growing up,"

"Guess I was," I laughed, sitting up and facing her again, "Tell me more about you!"

"What d'ya want to know?"

"Everything,"

I asked endless questions but I didn't get tired or bored. She gave me honest answers and they never faltered, as cliche as it sounds time seemed to fly by.

She told me about how she grew up in London and it had just been her and her dad but they had managed fine. She told me her favourite film was probably one from The Dark Knight trilogy but couldn't choose one. Her favourite band was The Killers and her favourite chocolate was Galaxy cookie crumble.

"Ummm, I love music and you already know where I work," she laughed, something clearly amusing underlying there.

"You really like your job don't you?"

"It does have its benefits, that are more than just being around music," Taking a sip of my coffee, she carried on, "Like helping someone find their favourite album and discover a new song that truly means something to them? Their eyes light up and you see the light and love flow back into their eyes. It's just incredible to experience and be a part of,"

Wow, this girl is truly something special, I couldn't help but think to myself.

After that all we spoke about was music, for another half an hour. We got excited over our favourite bands and after she played me a few of her favourite charts toppers, what hits we had wished we could have written.

From Brian May's guitar solo in Bohemian Rhapsody which I've realised is one of my favourites, to Billie Joel, we lost ourselves. Nirvana, Bon Jovi, The Gorillaz, Green Day... You name them, I loved them all.

"Shit, you seen the time?" I gasped turning my phone so he could see the time, it was gone eleven thirty.

"Time really does fly," she laughed watching the sky out of my room window, "I've got a story for you,"

"Go on then you idiot," I folding my legs cross cross on the bed.

"Patience young Jedi," she winked laughing.

"Shit, you seen the time?" Lola shot up, sand flying everywhere as she jumped up from where we were laying on the beach.

Dylan made no attempt to move, "I'll only be babysitting Cody's drunken ass anyway"

"Exactly that's way to funny for you to miss," she laughed and held her hand out to pull him up, "Come on Dyl, you need to go,"

He took Lola's hand and hauled himself up, "Fine if you insist," he grinned before adding, "But only if you come too," he jumped up and down like a child, "Please Lola please!"

Lola sighed, "If you insist,"
