Dylan's POV

We'd spent all evening watching the fast and furious movies, something I had insisted on. Something about the action and adrenaline of danger and fast cars was something I was well onboard for, much to Lola's eye rolling and disappointed complaining.

Which made sense considering my physical and mental state.

We must have fallen asleep fully dressed and in the middle of the sixth movie because the next thing I was aware of was being woken up at 3.35am by Lola's phone.

"Are you fucking kidding me!" I heard her whisper angrily as she jumped off her chair in a rush to get her phone before it woke anyone else up.

"Its on the table," I groaned, sitting up rubbing my hands through my hair yawning.

"Oh shit, sorry Dyl, err thanks," she replied before answering it, "Thomas its 3.35am in the morning, what do you want?" She whispered

She paced up and down the room frantically, making me laugh, "Please tell me you're joking?" She paused and stopped pacing, "Thomas I'm not..." She stopped again, clearly having been cut off, "Oh no you don't... Don't you dare get in that car if..." She sighed slumping back down in her chair, "Considering the last car related-"

She stood up again with her keys in her hand, "Fine, I'm coming, where the hell are you?" Ending the call she shoved her phone in her pocket, we'd fallen asleep still dressed which I guess benefited her now.

"Off somewhere?" I grinned.

"It seems like I'm left with the job of collecting our very drunk and very stupid friend," she laughed straightening up, chuckling once she saw my slight confusion, "Umm do you remember me telling you about Thomas when I suggested you watch your movie The Maze Runner?"

"Oh yeah, I remember him. He's drunk huh?" I chuckled, finding the entire situation funny.

"He is absolutely wasted," she laughed, grabbing her keys and purse before turning to face me, "Usually I'd ask if you wanted to join my midnight adventures but one, I can't kidnap you from the hospital and two, you should get back to sleep," She grinned, "I'll be back soon I promise," she smiled, pressing a quick and surprising kiss to my forehead before scrambling out the room.
