I parked my black beast in the corner and stepped down from it, feeling quite refreshed. Since I wore a helmet today, my hair was not a wild mess like I thought it would be. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and smacked my lips, wondering if I should apply more gloss or not; finally decided to apply a bit and then flipped my hair to one side. I pulled my bag and walked through the double doors.

Students were eyeing me as if I was from some other planet. They had their reason. I was the only one in dire colors. Everyone else is wearing red, pink, hot pink, fuc* pick, whatever pink, lilac, too many shades of unicorn puke and white. No black, dark colors etc other than those Emo kids who had piercings and black lips. I was completely different. So, for today, I didn't snap at those gawky eyes. I let their eyes wander over my body.

I should have known; that today I will be especially welcomed by Sophia and her goons.

She was the Rapunzel, Cinderella, Barbie all combined into one body. As expected, the bitch queen of LittleBird. I hate that name with a passion; the schools name not her name. With too many injections and chemicals along with pancaked face, she looked hideous with her boobs half out from the pretty small pink top; two sizes smaller to fit in her pom poms. And her butt looked pinched in her shorts; may I add- "extremely". Her hair was one big mess, flipped down which looked overly pampered and appeared fuzzy rather than smooth. She smiled smugly at me with her chubby pink lips and smoky eyes. I have to agree, her smoky eyes with pink and smoked red looked dashing. I wonder how she did it.

"Oh, I see the rebel."

"What?"

"Don't worry senorita, you will get your prince charming one day, I suppose today is not the day."

"As if I need one bone more to help me stand straight."

"Oh, we don't need that bone to help stand straight if you know what I mean."

I grunted in reply. She smirked again.

"And Lilly, don't feel sad that Nate is feeding bones to his bitch."

I laughed. In fact, I boomed.

"Is that the best you can bring today Sophia? My, you are getting older."

I walked away from her brushing my shoulder as if I had lint in there. I smacked one more time to my shoulder, looked at her and poof, her smugly smile... gone. Good start, I complimented myself.

A girl about my height was walking by with a rose in her hand dressed in a white lace dress with a satin pink bow on her waist. It looked beautiful. She was in the sophomore since I have seen her running here and there for some sort of fundraising. She looked at me, smiled and gave me the rose and said, "Smile, you are too pretty to cover yourself in the frown."

I thought she was sweet because I have seen her helping poor people, old people and children in the carnival and all sorts of programs conducted in our society. And I am saying this because I know since my daddy dearest will be the main sponsor for it all. So, that means? Come on, you are smarter than that! I will tell you... his family should attend the program! Yay! Urgh! Well, to the point, I have plucked that term sweet from this girl.

I threw the rose on her face and said, "I am too much valuable to waste my time on a pathetic gesture such as that." I don't want people to talk to me. It will lead to too much simplicity in life and I don't want it. I have lost trust in all people. I don't want friends. What if, a friend, one day decided to cheat on me and break my trust, again? See, I can't allow that to happen. I can't afford heartbreak; heartache- again.

But, do you know what this girl did?

She hugged me and said, "No one is born a demon, people become one when life makes them one. Be all the bad you want, but I see the goodness in you. You have a heart inside all these since you find me sweet but irritating." She laughed lightly and walked away with a wink.
