Chapter 27

LUCAS POV'S:

Maya fainted on the grown and I realized that Maya didn't stop taking the drugs. I took her to the hospital where she made some tests still fainted. 

I call Shawn and Katy but they were out of town, Farkle was with Riley and the only person Maya have was me, I stayed there waiting for her to wake up, she was layed on the bed and I was hust seat on a chair looking at her..., but I fall sleep.

 In the next morning,Maya was already with her eyes open,when she looked at me,she felt really bad and lost.

-Lucas where am I? What have I done? They are here? (Maya)

-Maya you are at the hospital you have a break down, I am here because your family couldn't make it in time. (Lucas)

-Lucas are they here? You need to tell me...(Maya said crying)

-Who are "they" Maya? (Lucas)

-Is Josh,his girlfriend and my father...., they are after me,they hit me, call me names and laugh about me...., you need to help me, please Lucas! (Maya)

-Take it easy I am here! (Lucas said hugging her and kissing her forehead)

Now we heard a knock on the door,it was the doctor and he had a sad smile that scares the hell out of me.

-Hi Maya and ...(Doctor)

-Lucas,my name is Lucas, Sir! (Lucas)

-Well Maya we made you some tests and I am not going to lie and say that everyting is fine, because it isn't. Maya the tests said that you are taking drugs,is that true? (Doctor)

-It is doctor, I am taking them for like more then two months! (Maya)

-Why Maya? You are so young so much to live,let's go directly to the point Maya we diagnost you cancer, for now it is not advanced the exams didn't really show much but it seems to be,I am so sorry, now if you excuse me I have to go but before can I talk to you for a second Lucas? (Doctor)

-Yes Sir....,I'll be right back! (Lucas)

I get out of the room and then I saw even a more scary face than the last one.

-Lucas why did she take the drugs? (Doctor)

-To see someone she lost, usually thing right? (Lucas)

-Yes it is, look as a good boyfriend you are,in this moment she will need your help more than ever, first she will denie the cancer, then she will realize is true and break down and then she will acept and you have to be there on the three stages and not let her take any more drug,are we understood? (Doctor)

-Yeah but you don't know Maya she is different, anyway thanks Doctor! (Lucas)

He leave the place with a little smile, I enter on the room and Maya was already dressed and ready to go. When we arrived at her home was empty her parents didn't come back and Farkle must be with Riley I couldn't leave her alone, not now that she needed the most.

MAYA POV'S:

I have cancer, how bad my life could end! Lucas was there with me, as much as friend as I am Lucas stayed for pitty that I didn't have anyone. Now all this because of Josh, a boy that don't even cares about me.

Lucas stayed at my home with me, we watch some movies and then I go to my bedroom,I don't now what happen but I just cried and Lucas showed up.

-Maya who are you? Where is your smile, your good humor, the sarcasm? (Lucas)

-They gone as I am going to be in a few months...(Maya)

-No you won't because I won't let it happen, if you die my life die with you...Maya I love you, I always did and I always will,you know that! (Lucas)

-Thanks but all of this started with love and...(Maya)

-Maybe love can end it! That's the answer, Riley and Farkle are expecting a baby, this will bring hope to all of us, a new begining and you are there. You are going to teach the baby all your habilities and show a good person you are, rigth? (Lucas)

-Yeah I will. (Maya)

-You promise? (Lucas)

-I promise! (Maya)

Then we both heard a knock on the door and I open the door to see the last person I wanted to see.....
