Chapter 34

-Maya you can't do that to me, you can't do that to us! (Lucas)

Lucas came closer to me and grabbed my hand, that made me look at him. I knew deep down he was the man I was supposed to love and take care, but more than I love being with him I care too much and I choose to see him alive then dead. He was born to be a good guy and be with a good girl not me, the bad bitch rule breaker.

-Why did you changed your mind so quickly? Have I done something? (Lucas)

-No, of course you didn't... you never do. But I need my freedoom, explore the world, I just had a translation from dead in one minute to alive in a long time, from that experience I have to enjoy it at fullest and being with you it's holding me back. I'm sorry. (Maya)

-I can go with you, I can have my life wherever you want as lon as I'm with you by my side. (Lucas)

-No, I have another mission for you. When I'm away take care of little Sophia, my brother and Riles above all. Now, enjoy life Lucas Friar, you never know when it's going to end! (Maya leaving)

I left him there. On his feet looking at my back until I finally close the door, but I didn't dare myself to open it again because I bet he is crying on the grown, blaming himself. It's going to take a while until he realizes I was true about everything I said, but the real truth is that I've never been anywhere besides here, my home, without Riles, my brother. I was starting a new chapter in my life that I never thought I would be capable of starting alone, all by myself.

I got to my room and start packing, my clothes but not the photos. I wanted that memories here, so everywhere I go I don't need to remeber that I have something holding me back to this city, a free spirit going wild in new places, stoping wherever it wanted. I went to the airport and all the destinations seemed great but I was not rich so either way I needed one that was cheap enough. As an artist I choose a place filled with art, a place that I would start a life without problems... Paris. The city of love, ironic from a person who is filled with love but no one to give to! 

RILEY POV'S:

My mission was to keep Farkle here as long as I could so she could leave this place. I was feeling terrible, because my only friend and soulmate was going away and besides cooperating with her her, she was leaving and I didn't knew the destination. All of sudden Lucas entered our house with tears falling down his face, he was destroyed, I could see that and didn't need glasses.

-Riles did you knew? (Lucas)

-What did I knew? What are you talking about? (Riley)

-Lucas, my wife just got out of giving birth. Lower your tone around her or while speaking to her! (Farkle)

-Maya is gone, she broke up with me and left! You were the one who told me she wanted to talk to me... did you knew? (Lucas)

-Maya is gone!? I didn't knew. She just told me that she had something to tell you but I never thought it was that. Where did she go? (Riley)

-I was hoping you could know that, but I see you don't. (Lucas leaving)

After he closed the door Farkle turned around and look at me with doubt.

-Why did you lied to him? (Farkle)

-Maya told me to lie to him. But I swear I don't know where she's gone too. (Riley)

-That I believe you, it's typical from my sister. At least I hope she sends us knews from now and then. (Farkle)

-I would count on it. She was decided to go blank on her record. I'm sorry. (Riley)

I was now heading to the hospital to take my baby to a doctor session, to weight her and do some tests, while I was waiting a nurse came to me with a smile and a papper in her hands and a bag under her arms.

-Hi Ms. Matthews. How are you feeling? (Nurse)

-Better, thanks to Maya. Thanks for asking, it's very nice of you. (Riley)

-Since you were here I came to deliver Maya's clothes and the papper from her visits, I thought this kind of miracle must have a memorial, nothing better than this to be there! (Nurse)

-Yes, of course. That's a brilliant idea, thanks. (Riley)

The nurse left and the clothes still have Maya's smell, but when I was putting the clothes back on the bag the papper of visits fell on the ground when I went down to pick it up, I was surprised. Maya's last visit wasn't Lucas but Josh. Why did he came here after everything? 

-Ms. Matthews you can come inside now! (Doctor)

-How's my baby? (Riley)

-She is perfectly fine. Healthy baby you have here. Congratulations, now the next step are the injections she needs to take to continue good, I will make up a date on my calendar and then we'll call you. Have a good day. (Doctor)

I got out of the office and went to the principal area in the hospital, there was the nurse who gave the stuff. I aproached her and as soons as she saw me, smiled,

-A man named Josh came yesterday to see Maya, why was he here? (Riley)

-He came because of you, as I record. He have the same blood type as you so he was trying to help. Why? (Nurse)

-Just curiosity, because when we left no one was here. But thanks again nurse. (Riley)

Something wasn't quite right, I knew Josh might have gone to the hospital to see me but why go to see Maya if she hates him, the last thing she wanted was too see him but either way he went there, the next thing Maya is going out of town and breaking up with Lucas, turning down all the love connections she have here, because she was not going wild, she was running away from Josh!
