Gale loved Katniss, ever since they began helping each other out. Peeta he thought, ruined everything. He would admit, Peeta was nice and once he returned to Katniss hijacked, he had a flash of hope. His hope vanished when his bombs killed Prim. He knew Katniss would forever blame him for her death. So he left for District Two, in hopes of a new life. But Katniss, she was always there. Deep down in his heart, he would never forget the Everdeen's.
