The wind broke through Elsa's hair, tearing through her tangles and knots. She was cloaked in a deep and vivacious blue, the kind you would see in the sky on a clear day. Her eyes darted from one side to the other, examining the scenery in front of her. She made it to the base of the mountain, in front of her lied a peak too far up for human eyes to reach. The wind caressed her face, sputtering her hair against her. Her dress tripped underneath her feet as her delicate hands swooped up to pull back her hair. The mountain was covered in clouds, white all over, it was edgy with rocks jutting out like masts of a ship.
Jack's up there, Elsa thought. I have to get to him before it's too late.

The wind wiped out her thoughts as her feet sank into the snow, numbing her nerves. She was used to the cold, she thought. She could use her power to create a staircase up to the top, but her body didn't allow her. She stretched out her fingernails, her hands steady and firm as she pulled back her veins and attempted to shoot ice out from the bottom of her palm.
         Nothing.
She tried again, but ice wasn't producing. She decided to try the next day, and hike up the mountain today. She put on her gloves, coating over her frail fingers.
She decided to hike. Hours went by, and in her vision still stained with the white and gray dullness mixed together with wind. The top of the mountain only seemed to get further and further away. This was a scavenger that went on forever. The souls of her feet started to feel numb and tired, her knees began to ache and crave in. She wobbled unsteadily side to side, catching herself before she fell.
Climbing this mountain was more tiresome than she imagined. It was like walking into a new world without any directions, wandering in a Forest or being blind. Her fingers trail off to the distance as a bird swoops down. The bird catches her ribbon at the back of her hair, pulling it as it flies past. She squealed surprised, as she looked back. Strands of hair fell against her neck, tickling the bare skin. The bird had took her ribbon, but now her hair sheathed her in warmth.
Hours flew past. The sky grew darker. The light blue faded from the sky as ominous and large clouds flooded it, blocking out all the light... Trees around her cast dark shadows against the snow, making everything seem eerier.
Her body began to get cold, but that's impossible, she can't get cold it wasn't in  her nature. Snow falling from the dark sky pricked her like needles as she felt goosebumps cover her from head to toe. She felt a breeze run over her body, cold cloaking her to the bone. A shiver went up her spine as she watched her warm breath float in the air.
After a while she felt like she being stabbed with thousands of needles that only penetrate the first two layers of skin. A feeling fades when the cold gets worse, into a foreboding kind of numbness. At that point all of her extremities feel swollen, clumsy, stiff and useless, as though there's been a layer of water pumped under my skin that dulls the sensation of touch. Hunger spread all over her skin. The slightly painful craving usually tells me she's gone too long without a meal, but it's warmth that my skin needs to swallow.
Elsa was experiencing the feeling of cold. Her body wasn't working quite right. Usually she was immune to the cold and didn't feel it at all, it was as if it was never there and never existed. Now, overcoming and foreboding icicles seemed to hang off of her skin and her body felt numb all over. She couldn't use her powers either, something wasn't right.
She ignored this wild thought and trudged on through the snow. Her shoes breaking between the delicate and fluffy whiteness, separating them with cracks. Only one thing occupied her mind and actions: Jack.
The aching feeling of his absence was stinging her heart. She felt the hollowness of laughs they shared and the warmness of his hand on hers. They faint ghost of his hand trailed around hers, as her hand pushed and heaved through the heavy snow. She missed him so much it caused her mental pain as well as physical. Her body felt weak like it couldn't go on with out his next to hers. Her brain felt like it was shutting down, and there wasn't any power left. He was her other half, her motivation to keep moving. She fell to her knees, sinking into the snow. She watched as her knees dug into the softness of the snow, hugging at her hips and covering her in cold.
She felt so tired, she could just collapse. Her vision got blurry as her mind seemed to fade away. Her hands plowed into the snow, leaving imprints. She felt like this was the end, this was her last stand. This was her giving up.
"Goodbye, Jack," Elsa whispered her last words as she fell back into the snow.
