Jack's P.O.V.
We arrived back at the kingdom, Elsa's hand was gripping mine tightly. She must be as nervous as I was.
I got cleaned up after the fight with Willis, a few scans were left but the blood disappeared.
The castle looks the same as always, dusty and old but still managing to look victorian and elegant. Elsa started to tremble and I set my hand on her shoulder to calm her down.
She looked at me with those serene blue eyes and I looked back. We both knew we were going to be okay. I shake my head to ask if she was ready and she replied with a confident nod.
I clutched her hand and held her close to my side as I took the lead and opened the castle. Inside, it was desolate. There was nobody inside, no welcome party, everyone was gone.
Come to think of it, I didn't see any familar faces when we walked here. There wasn't a carriage to pick us up like usual, we had to walk all the way here. What is going on? I look down at Elsa who was biting her fingertips nervously, the light had been sucked out of her crystal eyes so it looked like clear translucent water. She shivered as she let go of my hands and brought them up to her face, covering her astonished look
I took her by the shoulders and shook her as she looked passed me at the blank castle.
"Elsa what's going on?" She didn't budge. She wore the same astonished expression still. "Do you know what happened?" She collapsed in my arms, falling heavily as I struggled to catch her. She was still consious but she wasn't moving
Her body was still warm and her eyes were still open. I ran my hand over her forehead and it was burning. Fever. I took her down the halls, my heart racing. This isn't good. I remember how to navigate these halls even though it's been years, I started to feel nostalgic. I opened the golden handle and clased my hand against hte door frame when it opened. I dropped Elsa onto her bed as I sat at her feet.
She sat up as she shook her head tiredly. I pushed her down gently, shaking my head.
"You need rest, when you wake up, you can tell me what this is all about." She didn't seem to reject and went to sleep.
Seriously what is going on?
Elsa's P.O.V.
I was stranded on the beach. My clothes were torn at the edges and my shoes were gone. I tried to call out for him, but nobody answered. Who was "him" anyways? I don't remember, all I remember was that he was someone very important to me. I sat on the sand, picking up a handful of it and watching it slip out of my hand so easily. Each small grain fell to the ground as I watched it helplessly. Why was I here? Who was the guy I was calling out for? Who am I?
I saw a familar face standing in front of me, unwavering. He seemed to flicker though, his hands reaching out to me as if calling me to him. His white hair blowing in the wind, and his delicate blue eyes, spoke to me, but I couldn't hear what they were saying. I didn't move. He had a warm smile on his face that made me want to embrace him but I didn't go to him. His face soon turned into a frown as a tear traveled down his cheek, and he faded away slowly. I felt a pain in my chest and I didn't know why. I don't know who he was so why did I feel sad?
There stood another man there in his place only seconds after he had disapeared. He smiled as well, but his smile made me want to run far away. I stood in fear, only to fear what this man was and wonder who he was. His sharp jagged teeth poked through his top lip, sinking into his bottom He smiled and beckoned me to come, threatening me. I started to sweat, scared and frightened.
I woke up in cold sweat. My hand gliding over my forehead to wipe off the sweat. Jack's worried eyes stared at me as he started to wipe off my sweat for me. His hands were gripped around my forearms, holding me close.
"You were screaming, what did you dream about?" He asked. His voice sent a pain through me as I tried to remember my dream.
"I dreamed about us, you, and, and a man..." I said.
"Was the man trying to hurt you?" He asked.
"No, but, he scared me, he seemed dangerous." I replied softly. He looked me sympathetically in the eyes. "It's just a dream, it's not real." I tried to brush it off, but I couldn't shake off the bad and gloomy feeling. My stomach felt like it dropped five thousand feet and I couldn't stop shaking.
"I know, but sometimes dreams can tell the future." Jack says. "And I don't want you to get hurt."
I smile and kiss him on the cheek, as I scooted over to his ear and whispered.
"Don't worry about it," I said, and I felt relief gush out of him as he embraced me with his warm body.
Dreams can tell the future, Jack says, his voice ringing in my head.
