Jack's P.O.V

15 years after the wedding

Let me just say marrying Elsa was the best decision of my life, but it was also the hardest to undergo.

After the wedding we went on our honeymoon, it was on the frozen lake we went to when we met at Willis's house, Willis wasn't there luckily.

We spent the night there looking over the sky and watching the stars, coming across a shooting star that we both made a wish on.

I wished to have Elsa by my side forever.

we were both in love and obsessed with each other that we spent everyday with each other.

We bought a house to live together the first year we were married so we wouldn't be separated. Elsa and I shared a bed.

But at night I would always hear Elsa scream, I would wake her up and she would look so frightened but a smile always overtook her frown. I asked her what's wrong, but she always played it off as a bad dream.

One day she was screaming louder than usual, it was the day somebody broke into our house.

it was barely sunrise when I heard the door rattling, I woke up immediately. my hands were secured around Elsa's waist as I listened attentively. it was a year after our marriage.

I didn't hear anything after that so I went back to sleep, holding Elsa.

I felt something suffocate me, making it hard to breathe, I tried to talk but I couldn't. I looked up and saw a man, he had his face covered with clothe and he put a white napkin over my mouth, causing me to fall asleep again.

I woke up and saw the same man towering over me, a gun pointed next to my head I could feel the dangerous vibe coming off of it as I felt startled. Elsa was in front of me, her hands held together as she stared down at me, obviously scared.

He took me as hostage and pointed a gun to my head, my mouth was wrapped in a tight bandage and I couldn't speak. Elsa looked horrified.

"you have to if you don't want him to die." his voice was deep.

what did she have to do?

"what else can I do?" Elsa asked frantically.

"nothing. you have to leave him." the man said heartlessly.

Elsa didn't want either but she agreed to leave, I swear I could hear my heart breaking and I couldn't take it anymore. just as she made her way to the door and the mans eyes followed her, I kicked him in the leg, causing him to scream in pain. He fell down for a mere second but got back up, chuckling as he held the gun up again.

I felt myself tense as sweat started to build up.

My hands got so sweaty I was able to stealthily slip through the bandages around my hands.

Elsa had stopped and turned to see what the noise was, her eyes were brimming with tears as I saw her hands shaking.

that's when I knew.
