Jack sat alone in the woods, staring down at his hands.

I should have told her, he thought. I should have told her my feelings.

He brought his hands to cover his face in regret, letting out a loud groan. His heart was tearing apart, an aching pain in his stomach.

"Jack?" Jack turned around. He heard Elsa's voice, but he couldn't see her. A few branches shuffled to his left as he quickly averted his eyes. Elsa emerged out of the trees, twigs and leaves falling out of her hair. She was still beautiful, her hair was pale white like the light of the moon and her eyes twinkled like the night sky with stars in them.
"What are you doing here?" Jack shot back harshly. His tone was surprisingly cold. He caught himself and grimaced, as he repeated his words softly. "Why are you here?"
"I haven't seen you in a while and I was wondering if," Elsa turned and started pulling at her sleeves nervously. "You wanted to go somewhere?" She said shyly.
Jacks eyes lit up and a smile spread across his face. He jumped up and grabbed her hand without a second thought. He ran through the forest, a destination in mind.
He knew the perfect place to take her.
He heard her foot steps crunching on the leaves and the twigs breaking on the ground. Her cold breath ran down his spine as he tight his grab around her hand. Her hand wrapped around his, he was shocked for a moment. He felt her fingers hold his, her long and skinny fingers warming his up like a fire. He started to hear his heart beating but still pursued.
He stopped at a pond, panting out of breath. Behind him, Elsa looked around in amazement. She observed how the pond reflected the sunlight's rays, how smooth the pond looked and she wanted to glide over it. Trees gathered around the pond and seemed to lean towards the pond, whispering.. The pond was small and round, with a few stones all around. It had an abundant amount of lily pads floating on it.
Jack looked at Elsa, watching how her eyes lit up with amazement, how her lip quivered and fell beneath her other lip. Her eyelashes batted fearlessly as she brought her hand up to touch her mouth in astonishment.
He was still holding her hand. He let go immediately, blushing immensely. Bushes of roses started to form at his cheek bones as he covered his mouth with his palm. Elsa looked back at him and smiled. A welcoming and sweet yet sinister smile that sent chills down your back.
"Do you like it here?" He asked her.
"It just might be my favorite spot," she giggled lightly. Her hand drew a circle on the top of a stone. She walked around it before sitting down. Cold rushed up to her face as her dress laid perfectly underneath it.
Jack made his way and sat right next to her. His legs perched up as he hugged them. He ran his fingers through his hair, letting each strand fold neatly, his messy bed hair ruffled in the wind. He couldn't stop stealing glances at her.
"You look beautiful." He was surprised, he didn't mean to say that. The words just flowed out of his mouth like a waterfall, powerful and unstoppable. She looked down at him astonished, her face flushing bright pink with a twinge of red.
"Alright," she said, returning her gaze at the pond. He wanted to convince her to believe his words. He shifted positions, his elbow on his foot as he gazed into her calming eyes. Her eyes were wavering like waves of an ocean before a sunset. They seemed to travel beyond the horizon, and captivating the most beautiful thoughts.
"Seriously," her gaze shifted on him again as he began to speak. "The way your eyes light up when they see something fascinating or the way your eyes are so transparent I can tell what you're thinking. The way you smile oddly with one side higher than the other, and the way your eyes crinkle at the sides. The way you dance around when you're happy or how your movements are so swift. When you're confused your eyebrows etch deeper into your face, arching down. Your small giggles you cover up with your hand and how you blush immediately."

Elsa looked at him, her eyes wide with amazement. She didn't know anybody paid this close attention to her.

"Thank you," she replied sincerely. She hopped off the stone and landed lightly on her two small feet.
She extended her arm, her hand stretched outwards with her fingers strained. Ice shot out of her hand, freezing the water. The water stopped moving, it froze from left to right. The moving waves and sloshing water from side to side, started to crystallize as it hardened. It glistened as a new reflective surface with no fracture. It was a perfect and smooth slate of ice laid down neatly.
Elsa stepped on the frozen pond, sliding across it.
Jack laughed wildly as he jumped onto the pond to. He grabbed Elsa's hand and she grabbed his other one. They slid across the ice as their feet swiftly glided. It felt like they were dancing on air. She smiled at him as they were hand in hand. They both couldn't help blushing.
Jack weaved his fingers through hers, feeling the empty space between. He stopped sliding and pulled her close to him.
Her head rested against his chest, her hair loosely fell against her shoulders. She could hear his heart beating a certain rhythm that only she could hear. His hand clutched hers tightly, and he wrapped another arm around her waist, pushing her closer to him. He felt so warm, his body heat felt like hers. She felt her heat beat and his, follow each other. They were like drums, two different drums, but connected someone. His cold hand held her steadily by the waist, the new feeling sent shocks up her spine. She felt her heart get electrified. She wasn't nervous anymore nor was her heart thumping really loud, she just felt the warmness of him against her.
He laid his head on her head, letting out a long sigh. She fit her head into the nape of his neck, closing her eyes and imagining what she felt. The warmness heated her heart, and all over her body she felt goosebumps prick her skin. Her heart felt light and she felt like she could just fall into his arms and stay their forever.
His head stayed on hers, and she stayed in his arms. She held tightly onto his hand.

"I wish you could tell you how I feel," he whispered quietly under his breath.
