Jack felt a stab in his heart.
Slowly, he began to feel an uncomfortably tingling ringing throughout his head.
Something bad happen, he could feel it. His stomach tied in knots and his head was filled with horror and screams.
"I have to get back, something happened," he said choppily as he cut through the air.
He trudged down from the top of the mountain, clouds of smoke and coldness hugging around him. His feet sank deep into the white of winter. In his left hand held his staff, as he swung it above his head. He staggered down the mountain, seeing nothing but blankness below him. Why was his gut telling him that something was wrong? This immense feeling of pain clouded his memory. His thoughts churned uneasily and his grip ripened around his staff, something's not right.
The mountain seemed to go on forever, steep then smooth, steep then smooth. It curved and dropped, ragged and edgy, he struggled to make his way down. The wind blew harshly against his cheek bones, polishing them around the rims. His eyes darted from corner to corner, being cautious for any danger.
All the time he spent alone on the mountain, isolated and solemn, caused him to be  nervous and frantic wreck. His hair was uncombed and his mouth was chapped. He always felt the need to cling onto something and he felt a hole punctured in his chest. Oh how terribly, he missed the outside world. He missed Elsa.
At least one good thing will come out of me going back, he thought miserably as he parted the snow. I will see Elsa. His heart lit up with joy but ached after the feeling diminished.
At the bottom, he could make out footprints. Small footprints in the snow, belonging to what seemed like a lady. He rushed hurriedly, almost tripping on his own feet. He let go of his staff and heard a thud as it fell to the ground.
His vision started to blur as he saw a limp body on the floor.
He sprawled across it, the snow covering the tops of his knees as he buried his face in his hands.
This has to be some sick joke, right? His thoughts trembled as his fingers danced across her pale white skin.
Elsa was ice cold and her heart wasn't beating. Jack felt a mix of emotions purge into him, clawing through his soul and tearing about his body. He watched the blood rush out of her cheeks, the light fade from her eyes.
Warm tears fell from his blood shot blue eyes, running down his high cheek bones as the splatted against Elsa's body.
"I love you, Elsa." He said sobbing. His vision was blurry and he could hear his heart slowing down. He held her in his arms as her head fell against his chest. Jacks heart beat steadily drummed against her head, hoping she could hear it.
He wiped away her remaining tears in her eyes, feeling a stab of guilt. She came looking for Jack, he was the reason she died. He thought. He bit down his lip to stop the tears from flowing out, but the pushed through like a waterfall. He hugged her tightly against his chest, holding her next to him so close that their clothes were the only things that separated them.
"I love you so much, so please." He cried, clutching her hands.
         "Please don't leave, without me."
