Chapter 22: Delivering News

Harry quickly picked up his phone and dialled Jeremy's number to tell him the news. Harry waited and waited; listening to the phone ringing but frowned when no one picked up. He hung up his phone and dialled Jeremy's house number instead. This time someone answered. It was Isla, Jeremy's mum.

'Good morning, Winters residence.' She answered very cheerfully. Harry's eyebrows raised at the formal introduction.

'Hi Mrs. Winters this is Harry Styles. I was wondering if I could speak with Jeremy?' Harry asked, his mum and dad listening closely behind him.

'Hello Harry! Jeremy can't come to the phone right now, he was feeling a bit under the weather late last night, so he's resting. He'll give you a call when he wakes up alright?' Isla spoke to him softly. Harry weakly nodded.

'Yeah, yeah of course. Is he okay?' Harry asked suddenly becoming worried.

'Oh yes he'll be fine. Just a bit of an upset stomach! Don't worry. I'll get him to give you a call. Have a nice day Harry.' With that, Isla hung up the phone. Harry slowly pulled it down from his ear and put it back in his pocket.

'Is everything alright honey?' Harry's mum came up behind him and placed a hand on his shoulder. He nodded and turned around.

'Jeremy's not feeling well.' Harry told her and then walked towards the door; putting his black converse on. 'I'm going over to Liam and Danielle's.' Harry advised them and before they could say anything else, he left the house and began walking quickly towards Liam's. They had also installed the device in the sidewalk, so Harry knew he had arrived at Liam's when he heard the dinging noise. He walked up to the door and opened it up, hearing the sounds of crying as soon as he walked in. He walked into the living room and frowned when Ariel continued to wail loudly. He also heard Liam trying to sooth her but it wasn't helping. Liam jumped slightly when he turned around and saw Harry there but then was immediately walking over to him; placing a screeching Ariel in his arms. Harry chuckled and held the baby girl in his arms.

'Why are you crying Ariel? Shhh..' Harry cooed to her and bounced her in his arms lightly. He pressed multiple kisses to the side of her head while calming her down. Within three minutes she was asleep in his arms. Liam smiled and shook his head.

'She adores you. I don't know how you do it.' Liam quietly said while chuckling. Harry just smiled and left the room to put Ariel in her crib. When he came back he sat down on the couch and sighed.

'I have news.' Harry told Liam who stopped picking Ariel's toys to glance at Harry. 'Is Danielle here?' Harry asked wanting to tell both of them at the same time.

'She's still sleeping. How she slept through Ariels crying, I have no idea.' Liam told Harry who just smiled. 'I'll go wake her up though.' Liam said and then jumped up off the couch to go and get Danielle. Just a few minutes later Liam returned with Danielle who was rubbing at her eyes and yawning. She had her curly hair up in a bun and she was still in her pyjamas. She walked over and sat on the couch across from Harry and Liam sat beside her.

'Whats up Haz?' She asked, yawning right after.

'Well I have some really amazing news to share.' Harry said smiling already. Liam and Danielle looked at each other with suspicion but then turned back to Harry, waiting for him to go on. 'I was accepted for the surgery. I'm getting my vision.' Harry broke the news to them. Both of their jaws dropped in surprise, but then Danielle jumped up from the couch and wrapped her arms around Harry who had also stood up. She pressed a kiss to his cheek and then pulled back; keeping her hands on Harry's shoulders.
