A/N JEREMY'S DAD IN THE MULTIMEDIA

Hana was sat in the kitchen reading a magazine when her phone began ringing. It was sitting on the table next to her dad, so instead of her going over
there to get it, he just grabbed it and gave it to her, but not before looking at who was calling.

'Who's this?' He asked, but handed Hana her cellphone. Hana's eyebrows knit together in confusion at the name on her phone. Louis.

'Louis?' Hana was quick to answer the phone. Louis hadn't called her in over five months. He used to call her everynight, but that slowly stopped to once a week. And during those phone calls he was usually drunk. After that, he just stopped calling all together. Hana knew something must have been wrong so she quickly answered, but when she did, she could hardly understand what Louis was saying. At first, she thought he was drunk again, but then came to realise that he was crying. She could tell that he was saying something, but what it was, she couldn't understand over the sobs. 'Louis, you need to calm down. Can you do that for me? I don't know what you're saying Lou. Slow down..shhh.' Hana said sternly but it was somewhat soothing to Louis and he did calm down enough that Hana was able to process some of the words.

'No one.' These two words were the only thing Hana could really process, but she could tell just how much pain Louis was in, and so when he said no one. He literally meant no one.

'Alright Louis, are you able to drive right now?' Hana asked. When she heard what sounded like "yes," she continued on. 'Come to my house then okay? I'll text you my address. Just drive safe Louis, and if you need to stop to cry, just do it. Don't worry about what the people passing will think, you stop driving okay? Promise me you'll stop if you need to.' Hana said with a firm tone. Louis mumbled another word which sounded like "promise" and then hung up the phone. Hana sighed and ran her hands down her face before looking up at her dad who had a lost look on his face. 'We're going to have a guest. For how long, i'm not sure. All I know is that Louis really needs me right now, and I can't turn him away. Please let him stay.' Hana wheeled her chair towards her dad so that she could grip his hand while pleading. A soft but worried look appeared on his face.

'If he needs you, he's more than welcome to stay honey. Do his parents know?' Hana's father asked making Hana wince a bit.

'Uh, no..his family died a few years back.' Hana informed her dad which made his eyes widen to saucers, and his mouth drop. 'Don't bring it up okay? Just don't say anything about it.' Hana told him, suddenly becoming very protective of Louis.

'Yes of course. I'll go let your mum and the twins know.' He quickly said and then left as Hana thanked him. Hana wheeled herself over to the door and sat by it, wanting to be there as soon as Louis came in. It was about half an hour later that his black car pulled up in front of her house, and even from inside, Hana could see just how bad of shape Louis was in. With his sunken cheeks, bloodshot eyes, dark bags, messy beard, and thin form..Hana knew he hadn't been doing well. Louis grabbed the duffel bags from the back of his vehicle and then slowly walked up to the house, but not before wiping at his eyes Hana painfully watched through the window beside the door as Louis looked at himself in the side mirror on his car, and tried to fix his hair. When it was as good as it was going to get, he stared for a few more seconds before forcing a large, over exaggerated smile on his face. Seconds later, he was knocking on the door. Hana opened it quickly to see Louis standing there with the fake smile and a duffel bag in each hand. When Louis saw that it was Hana who opened the door, he allowed his smile to fade as he dropped his duffel bags and wrapped his arms around her. Even though she was less accessible in the wheelchair, the hug was still comforting to Louis as he cried.

'Come on, let's get you to my room.' Hana said with a smile once Louis had calmed a bit. He nodded, grabbed his duffel bags and then proceeded to follow Hana down the hall to her room. When they entered, Hana told Louis to drop his bags and then brought him over to her bed. She pushed herself up onto her bed with the muscles in her arms and then patted the bed beside her. Louis sat next to her and sighed. It was quiet for a few minutes before Hana spoke up. 'Alright, you're going to start by telling me everything and then you're going to take a shower because you smell ratchet.' Hana said which brought a small laugh to Louis's lips, which made Hana smile. Her smile soon faded though when she saw a fresh wave of tears glisten Louis's blue eyes. She reached over and grabbed his hand in hers. 'I'm right here.' Hana reminded him and smiled as he nodded. Then he told her everything.
