'Harry...wait.' Louis quickly said, just before Harry went to open the door to his house. After the funeral, Harry and Louis had walked to Harry's house because Harry wanted Louis to meet his parents. When Louis stopped him from opening the door, he turned around with a confused look on his face. 'What if....what if they don't like me?' Louis shyly asked and picked at his nails. The confusion on Harry's face disppeared as he smiled.

'Louis..they'll love you.  I promise.' Harry reasurred him with another smile and turned back around to open the door. 'Mum, dad?' He called out as they stepped insde. They both slipped off their shoes and then Harry led Louis up the few stairs when he heard his parents call out. The two of them were lounding on the couch; Robert's arm was wrapped around Lillian's shoulders while she was leaning into his side. They were both changed out of their funeral clothes and were now just in casual attire while they watched a movie. They glanced up when Harry entered the room and smiled at him.

'Hi hon-' Lillian stopped mid-sentence when Louis stepped out from behind  Harry with a hesitant smile. 'Harry, who's this?' She asked instead, raising her eyebrows. Both parents stood up from the couch and looked upon Harry for an answer.

'Mum, dad...this is Louis.' Harry wrapped an arm around Louis's waist and pulled him in closer as he said the next part. 'My boyfriend...' Harry was a bit hesitant to say this. He and Louis hadn't really gone over their current lable. He was happy to see that Louis had a large grin on his face and he was nodding. He tore his eyes away from Louis for a moment to see his parent's reaction. Both of them were staring at the two with wide eyes, and gaping mouths.

'You're Louis...you're a..ok.' Lillian hesitantly said and then nodded, although she still didn't quite understand. 'I thought you were a..didn't know you're a....Harry can we speak with you alone for a moment?' Lillian had trouble managing the sentence, which contained quite a bit of stuttering in confusion. Harry looked at Louis to see that his face looked almost hurt. Harry kissed his cheek quickly and then followed his parents out of the room and down the hall into his own. He closed the door behind him and braced himself for the outburst that he was sure would come.

'What the hell is going on Harry? One minute you're with Loui s who I believed was a girl! Next minute you break up and you're with Maya...then the next minute you're with Louis again.' Lillian said, but she wasn't yelling like Harry had expected her to.

'It's a long and complicated story.' Harry admitted to them after sighing. His mum just crossed her arms over her chest as if to tell him she was waiting to hear the story. Harry glanced over to his dad for backup but he just shrugged and raised his hands up in defense. 'Do I seriously have to tell you it right now? I don't want to keep Louis waiting. He probably thinks he did something wrong mum!' Harry exclaimed, only recieving a dirty look from his mother. He groaned and flopped back onto his beat in defeat. 'It all began at camp....'

When Harry had finished telling the story of him and Louis, leaving no detail out..his parents were left surprised. 'Now, can I please go back to Louis? We've been in here for at least ten minutes..' Harry said as he stoof up off his bed. His parents stood up and nodded but then his dad stopped him just before he went back out to the living room.

'Why didn't you tell us you were..you know...gay?' Robert asked his son as his mum listened closely as well.

'Because i'm not. I don't want to put a lable on it. Not being able to see Louis when we met obviously made a huge impact on the relationship. There is no difference knowing that he's a boy. It's the same Louis I fell in love with as a girl.  Just different body parts.' Harry chuckled at the last part as did his parents. 'So, you don't care that i'm with a boy...you're not disappointed?' Harry asked then and looked towards his feet. He was surprised when his mum reached forward and put her hand under his chin; she tilted his head up to meet his eyes.
