Pain took over Dracos senses as his cheek bled profusely from drunken slaps he received from his own mother. Tears welled up and his throat dried and began to pain as each slap threatened to run a river of tears down the boys face

"s-stupid boy,stupid s-sstupid boy" his mother repeated slurring two of the 'stupid'. She repeatedly slapped him tears finally spilled from draco's eyes as he tried to keep himself in a ball and protect his face, but he was failing miserably. he didn't fight back, he didn't have the courage too fight his drunk mother as she kept hitting him

"Mr Malfoy! I did not know you had to day dream to get through my class" Professor Snape sneered glaring at his god - son who whispered under his breath, something barley audioble to himself nor to anyone else for that matter. Snape dismissed the class but Draco just sat there staring at the small cauldron that was bubbling

"Draco!" Pansy scowlded bringing Draco back into his reality. He grabbed his book and left with her and they walked to the great hall sitting down at their usual places as dinner began. Draco just stared at his food blankly poking it with his fork uninterested in it , his mind was somewhere else or should I say someone else his eyes fixated on "the boy who lived" Harry Potter who was laughing as the red headed girl he and his friends nicknamed 'Weaslette' ,kissed his lips and he kissed back, Draco's eyes shut quickly he kept them closed forcing them to stay down as pain surged threw his heart a cold icy feeling much like a shiver erupted inside him as he slowly opened his eyes seeing both of them leave . The brown haired Gryfindor glanced at him and draco's heart missed a beat as his eyes diverted and stared at the food intently

"why aren't you eating?" Pansy questioned she had noticed him staring at Harry yet she didn't want to mention it

"I'm not hungry ill see you later in the common room i have homework" draco said getting up

"but its Sunday you finished it on Thursday" pansy questioned crossing her arms but draco ignored her and just kept walking as fast as he could .awkwardly as some people glanced at him and then away as he walked down to the dungeons and into the slytherin common room and to the bed rooms no one was in there he undressed and into pyjamas before climbing under his covers closing his eyes trying to avoid tears spilling
