Draco needed a distraction and if cutting was out of the question then maybe school work was.

"Draco" pansy screamed in the hallways running over hugging him as if her life depended on it

"i came when you were unconcious i thought you were dead" she said trying not to cry yet tears were coming down her eyes. A few people were staring at them but pansy didnt care and draco started feeling uncomfortable

"sorry" he whispered and she pulled away wiping her eyes with her fingers

"cmon lets go to class or Snape will be all pissy" she said with a halfheartedly Laughted and draco nodded and they walked into potions

They both sat down at their desk next to zabini. Snape walked in a few minutes later and was surprised to see his godson their but said nothing as they started to study ancient potions

It was pritty boring till Luna Lovegood started singing

"miss lovegood what on earth are you doing?" snape bascically said in his dull voice that took him years to finnish

"singing to the potion"she stated "it helps it brew correctly" she added with a smile while Snape raised his eyebrow

He just looked a little shocked but it was expected since she was a loony

After was muggle studies, herbology and lunch which draco left the castle for and sat at the edge of the dark woods

"draco" someone said and he jumped but calmed slighly seeing Dumbledore

"yes?" he asked tho he already knew what this was about

"i would have thought you'd be resting but professor Snape tells me you attended class today ,did you?" dumbledore asked truthfully

"yes sir" he answered

"is Mr potter not a good roommate Malfoy?" he asked and draco shrugged and titled his hands back and forth

"he's worried" draco said honestly

"he has a right to be" dumbldore said softly

"its not like he cares...he's only acting like he does cause you said so" draco stated

"i didnt tell him to stay in the hospital ward for 6 hours holding your hand" dumbledore said before leaving

It was true the moment he woke up he saw harry sitting there waiting for him to open his eyes. He headed back to his shared room and walked in to see harry sitting on the window sill his head resting against the window and the top window opened. A ciggerette in his hand as he inhaled and exhaled before flicking out the window

"y'know that not healthy for you right?" draco questioned

"you know cutting yourself isnt healthy for you right?" harry mumbled

"touchè" draco answered. Sitting on the couch was a green blanket with a snake

"i should tell the Gryffindors you were using a Slytherin blanket" draco joked before smiling which made harry smile lightly , before he put his feet on the ground and walked over

"perhaps i should tell the slytherin's you kissed me" harry teased with a grin

"you dared me to!" draco stated crossing his arms and harry grinned even more

"so how was classes?" harry asked

"it was away from you so it was great" draco shrugged before sitting down and opening his bag and pulling out his textbook and flicking to the page number

"homework?..ill help you" harry offered

"you potter?, you fail at every potion" draco laughted and harry rolled his eyes

An hour later

Draco was staring at the pills and shaking his Head the mood had turned sour when harry said he should take the pills. He picked up the capsule unscrewing the lid . The pills were in a circle shape with a slice in the middle. The capsule wasnt as heavy as he expected

"sorry okay you dont have to take them if you dont want to" harry whispered sitting across from him while draco stared at them blankly

"will it make you happy?" draco asked and harry nodded before he spilled out two of them and went to put them into his moutg but harry stopped him

"will it make you happy?" harry asked

"we take strange things to feel normal" he whispered putting the pills in his mouth and smiled as harry left . He spat them out into the sink and washing them away
