Your Point of View
"I'm pregnant," I whispered in shame, casting my eyes down to the ground, not wanting to look at him in the eyes.
Feeling some of the guilt being lifted off my shoulders, this was the first person I've told about my situation since founding out about it a few days ago.
Hearing the both of our noses taking in breaths, I knew I shouldn't have said anything when that was the only thing I heard from him.
Maybe it was stupid for me to think that I could have told Odell about this without him judging me, but I guess not.
"Are you going to say anything," I looked over at him, with an eye raised. "Because I need to know what we're going to do. I can't raise this child by myself Odell. I'm still in high school for crying out loud."
I also thought I was going to be the first in my family to go to a college and do something with my life, but it all changed when I met this man beside me for the first time.
He hunched over with his elbows bringing contact with his knees. "What am I'm supposed to say y/n? How do I know for a fact that you're pregnant and I'm the father? For all I know, you could be lying to my face, trying to trap me in this relationship."
How could he? How could he say I was trying to keep him in this relationship with me? He acted like I was holding a gun to his head.
"Trap you?" I yelled, getting up to my feet, ready to bust him upside his head. "Did you forget what you just said to me two minutes ago? How do you think I feel, getting pregnant by a man twice my age and probably about to get kicked out by her parents once they found out about this?"
He sighed, putting one of his fingers up to his lips. "I'm just saying and please lower your tone before you wake up Aaron."
"I don't care who I wake up Odell! I thought you'll handle this like an adult that you are supposedly are. Was all the sweet talk you said in my ear was just to get in my pants? You don't love me do you?" I asked in frustration, ready to hear his answer, and just be done with it.
Hearing nothing once again, it was amazing how I was the only one talking, and trying to come up with a resolution for this matter and not him.
"I think you need to leave." He came to the conclusion, getting up from the edge of the bed to hold the door open for me to exit.
"I hate you." I spat in his face, walking out of his room, and back to Aaron's room to grab my things.
Stopping myself from breaking down, I talked myself up, not wanting to show any weaknesses from now on.
These feelings of regret and disappointment were only temporary.
Maybe this child was a blessing in disguise.

"You dirty whore," Aaron yelled, throwing my overnight bag at me once she saw me opening the door to her room. "I heard everything you said in my dad's room. You got yourself pregnant and had the nerve to tell my dad that he was the father? What a bitch!"
Picking my bag up with the little dignity I had, I let out a heavy breath before speaking. "You know what Aaron, I don't have time for your pettiness or your father's for a matter of fact. So I want you to give him this."
I yanked the necklace he gave me months ago off and threw it in her face. "And tell your father he will be in this baby's life financially no matter what."
With that, I left with a soured looking Aaron and a distressed Odell in their rooms to think about what just happened.
Opening the front door of their house, I yelled my goodbyes before walking out of their lives forever.
He was going to miss this bomb ass pussy I tell you that.

One Year Later.
"Hey there little girl," I cooed at my daughter as I picked her up from the car seat.
Sitting her down on my lap, I kissed her chubby cheeks as people walked in front of us with music blasting in their ears.
Hearing a little wailing noise coming from her small lips, I automatically knew what time it was.
Grabbing the bottle of milk from her diaper bag, I took the cap off before feeding her the milk I pumped before bringing her to the park.
Watching her as she drank her lunch while looking at the sky, I felt someone's shadow in front of me.
Scooting over to the edge of the bench, I never took my eyes off of my Alexis.
"She's beautiful," the person beside me observed, making me turn my head at the familiar voice. "And you are too."
Smiling from ear to ear, I couldn't believe he was sitting next to me.
"Keith!!!" I squealed, giving him a sideway hug, making sure I didn't disrupt my infant daughter.
"How are you y/n?" He asked as he looked down at Alexis then at me.
"I'm okay," I smiled. "But I want to know what's going on with you? Last time I heard from you was three years ago when you left to go and work on your movie career and next thing I know you're playing Ronnie Devoe in New Edition."
He chuckled while showing his beautiful smile. "I should have kept in touch with you, though. I'm sorry about that y/n."
I shook my head with no bad intentions at all. "You don't have to be sorry for nothing. I'm just glad we're finally catching up with each other now."
"Me too," he said, bringing his attention to Alexis. "Who is this princess?"
Smiling down at my daughter, I was always eager to introduce her to new people. "Her name is Alexis."
"That's a pretty name," he complimented while playing with her small hands.
"Thank you," I gushed, still being amazed at how my heart could melt at his words.
"I was wondering if you and Alexis would like to grab a bite to eat later on tonight?" He suggested after awhile of making funny faces at her, trying to get her to laugh and doing just that.
Taking the bottle out of her mouth, I began to burp her on her back.
"I'll take that offer." I responded, feeling the heat rushing to my cheeks.
"Sounds like a plan." He smiled, handing me a piece of crumbed paper with his number written on it.
Boy was I lucky to be in his presence.
