Your Point of View.

I watched patiently as the Alpha of our pack, graced the small stage with confidence lingering behind.

Everyone was on edge as the leader of The Gray Moon Pack called an urgent meeting a half an hour ago.

Taking off my prescription glasses, I wiped them clean on the hem of my shirt before putting them back on to see more clearly.

I felt like a geek wearing them, but I was too lazy to buy contacts.

So here I was, sitting in a crowded room with huge glasses framing my entire face.

As he walked to the podium, I couldn't help, but stare at his butt.

Odell, our Alpha's name, was the most beautiful person I had ever laid eyes on.

I felt kind of guilty, knowing that he had a mate out there somewhere, but sometimes I couldn't control my thoughts and feelings.

All eyes were on him as he cleared his throat, quieting down all the murmurs among the crowd.

"As you may know, rogues are attacking nearby packs. To be on the safe side, we will start having training before the break of dawn tomorrow. Understood?"

Not anyone saying a word, he scanned the room before once again giving out orders.

"Trust your instincts. Do not believe everyone and everything. There could be spies among the crowds for all we know."

Taking the warning, I took my eyes off of him, scanning the room of potential spies.

I stopped at an old man with green eyes who wore a constipated look on his wrinkled face.

As I looked down from his face to his hands, I noticed that they were clenched in a balled up fist.

Maybe he has to go to the bathroom. I thought to myself as I turned my accusing stare back onto the stage.

"Are there any more questions?" He asked.

Raising my hand, I waited to speak until his intense eyes were on my framed ones.

"Yes?"

As curious eyes turned towards me, I took in a large gulp before questioning him.

"If we were suspicious of someone, what should we do?"

"Good question. Please come tell me and I will handle it accordingly." He said as he gave me a small smile.

Nodding my head, I slumped back into my seat, hoping the meeting will come to the end soon.

As the meeting was finally done, I got up from the uncomfortable chair, making my way towards the exit of our gathering building.

Not being able to walk to my car in peace, I was stopped by a girl who I haven't seen before.

"It's y/n right?" She said as she stood in front of me with a sour look on her caked face.

I raised an eyebrow. "Yes?"

"I just wanted to let you know that you need to stay in your place."

"Excuse me?" I questioned, not fully understanding what she was trying to imply.

"Stay away from Odell or you will regret it." She threatened as she left me confused as ever.

All I did was asked him a question concerning our pack.

I shrugged my shoulders as I continued to walk toward my 1997 Toyota.

These girls these days.

Getting into my car safe in sound, I turned on the car radio to fill the silence of the car.

As Adele's Hello blasted through the speakers, I made my way toward home.

Once safe and sound in my apartment, I walked into the kitchen to fix myself dinner.

Deciding on a ham sandwich with plain chips, I took my dinner into the living room to watch my favorite show.

Looking at the time on my phone.

It read 7:26, leaving me four minutes until Martin came on.

Turning on the black motionless screen, I ate in silence as I waited until I was entertained for the rest of the evening.

It was a shame that me, a 22-year-old, watched reruns of old shows on Friday nights.

I should be partying and hanging out with friends, but no, I had to be the awkward one who didn't have any friends.

But I wasn't complaining. As long as I had wifi and food, I was okay.

After five episodes of Martin and my plate becoming empty, I was ready to go to bed.

Taking my plate into the kitchen and throwing it away, I cut off the television, grabbing my phone, and headed towards my bedroom.

Stripping from my clothes and putting on my pajamas, I got into my bed with sleep overtaking my mind.

Closing my eyes and thinking about all the events that occurred today, the last thing I remembered was the man with the green eyes.
