Watching the flat screen TV as Coming to America was in its final scenes, I couldn't help my deceitful eyes as they trailed over to my best friend/roommate and her current boyfriend, Odell.

It has been two hours since he came over from football practice and their lips and hands never seemed to break a part from each other since then.
"What's wrong?" Asked y/bf/n while she played in Odell's hair.
You're stealing him away from me!
I wanted to scream as loud as I could, but the only words that left out of my mouth was,"No I'm fine."
Not in the mood to watch my favorite part of the movie and its end, I got up from my seat, and left them to their own enjoyment.
Closing the door to my room as I heard their voices on the other side of it, I plopped down on my bed with a defeated sigh.
Bringing my eyes to my phone as I curled up into a ball, I have now figured that being lovesick was a fucking curse and not a great thing at all.
Who even though that being in love with someone was fun?
Smiling just a little bit as I got a notification from Wattpad saying that my favorite author has updated her book, I surprisingly heard a knock at my door.
"Who is it?" I asked, sitting up on my bed before turning my phone off.
"It's Odell. Could I come in for a sec to talk to you?"
"Sure," I said, preparing myself for whatever was going to come out of his mouth.
Trailing the patterns on the bedspread with my fingers as he opened the door, the bed dipped because of his weight, bringing me to look at him.
"Do you hate me or something because every time I come over, you always seem uncomfortable," he quickly stated, not giving himself time to breathe.
I grimaced at his words.
It was the exact opposite.
"No Odell, I don't hate you at all. I just have a lot on my mind right now," I sighed.
"Then what is it?" He asked, his voice laced with determination and hope.
"I kinda like this boy, but he likes someone else that's very close and dear to me," I finished before looking down at my hands, hoping he would catch on to what I was implying.
"Well, he's stupid for not giving you a chance. He doesn't even deserve you if he can't see what's in front of him."
Feeling the heat rush up to my cheeks as he spoke those genuine words, my lips turned upwards.
"Thank you, Odell."
He shrugged, getting up from my bed and headed out the door. "No problem."
"And one more thing y/n, you can talk to me if you need someone to talk to," he smiled before walking out of my room and closing the door behind him.
"Okay," I whispered to the back of the door, but little did he know that I was talking about him.
_________
Your Point of View.
It's been officially three weeks since I had the talk with Odell and every since then, everything between us was more awkward now than it was before.
Just today, we were both in line to get something to eat when I decided to be a bigger person and talk to him face to face, but little did I know that I was going to get ignored by him in full show.
Did it sting my heart just a little bit?
Yes, it did, but I didn't say anything else to him and grabbed my food and walked to my usual spot to eat in peace.
I was trying to get over him and move on with my life, but how was I going to do that when he wasn't listening or responding to what I had to say.
As trays were being slammed on the table, I looked up from my plate and saw Odell with my best friend sitting down to eat.
Knowing that he was ignoring me and I didn't feel like wasting my time trying to get him to talk to me, I said a quick 'hello' before bringing the hamburger I ordered towards my mouth. (Hope you're not a vegetarian).
After hearing their conversation between each other for a minute or two, I heard Odell ask y/bf/n if she could get him something from the cafeteria line, which she rolled her eyes before getting up and saying a quick 'okay'.
Not feeling the need to be in his presence right now, I finished half of my sandwich before getting up and throwing the rest away.
"Can I talk to you," he asked from behind me.
I sighed before turning around and taking a seat in front of him.
"Why are you ignoring me?" I flat out asked, wanting to know why he wasn't talking to me.
He rubbed his hands across his face before speaking. "I was just thinking about something."
"Thinking about what?" I bitterly laughed.
"You." He whispered before looking at me, then back down at his untouched food.
"Wait, What?" I asked in shock but then excited at what he was going to say next.
"I think I like you," he groaned. "When you told me that you liked someone, I started feeling something in the pit of my stomach, but I didn't know what it was until I saw you talking to Jalen in our Science class the next day."
Lost of words, I sat there in silence.
"Say something?" He pleaded with me. "I need to know how you feel about all of this."
"What did you feel?" I asked curiously, avoiding his last question.
He looked me straight in the eyes before I saw something flash across his face.
"Jealousy," he growled.
