Zaezen Dewshield

I felt the power of my family flow through me. It feels like I could fight the gods.

The man in front of me, that was Vadim, he's the leader of the Seekers, my uncle.

My Uncle was recruited by the King when him and father were lived in the kingdom. My Uncle says that Father took Mother from him, but she denies.

Ever since then he has hated him, and wanted to destroy us. His buddies by him were Groun and Alagaros, his sons, my cousins.

"You wont stop fighting us will you Zae. Give it up already. You have fought us your whole life."

"I will never give up, ever. Leave me and my friends be, we just want to get away from this place."

He laughed, "Never, I will get that sword of yours girl. When your gone it goes to me."

Rin came up, Tarnas and Wren did too, pulling out their weapons, "We will never give up."

Vadim raised a closed fist, a group of hooded men came out of the void, covered in black, "You made your choice, my dear Zae."

" For Contairor!" I yelled the ancient battle cry of the drakes.

I charged going after Vadin, Rin took Groun, Tarnas and Wren took Alagaros.

Uncle had his staff. Sparks flew off out weapons as we fought.

I knocked him back a few feet. He looked at me, "Can you shift little Zae?"

He shifted into a big, black drake, so I shifted. He took off and i followed not far behind. I inhaled, creating a fireball that hit his leg.

He screeched turning around going at me with his claws. We were tangled together in a furry of claws.

I swung at his head, snagging his eye. He pulled away and we stared at each other, blood coming out of the gash, his eye missing.

I heard Rin, he was yelling but i could only faintly hear him, "Zae! Move!"

I felt a searing pain as something grabbed the back of my neck. I writhed in agony, seeing Alagaros's wing, his teeth were dug deep into my neck.

I started seeing black patches in my eyes, losing blood fast. I struggled and struggled, trying to get home off.

My deafening screech was cut short as my wings started to fail me.

He let go of my limp body, swirling to the ground. All I felt was pain as I shifted back to my human form, unable to stay shifted.

I saw Rin, tears running down his face as he picked up me, and everything went black.
