I couldn't believe it. I found my mate. I found myself inhaling her scent. Lilacs and cherry blossoms. Perfect.

Katerina's POV
I blushed and turned away. I checked my IPhone 3GS and found twenty texts from people at my old school, saying exactly the same thing. Ur a wolf?!? Wtf! yeah. I hate this phone. I deleted them all and tried to focus on all my classes.
When it was time for lunch I rushed towards the door and ran into the wall, wait a person. I looked up and saw it was the same boy I was staring at before. I sniffed the air and smelled chocolate and marshmallows. Yum.
"Erm, sorry! I didn't mean to run into you." I said in a rush. I heard him laugh. "Ah, no problem. Name's Zander by the way, what's yours?" I was ecstatic. My mate asked my name! and on the first day of school too! "It's Katerina." I replied. Bleh I sounded like a timid field mouse. I hate mice. "Wanna sit with me at lunch?" he asked.
"Wow that'd be great. Thanks." I smiled casually. This was going great so far. "Okay see you there." he smiled too. My phone started beeping the text alert and I cursed under my breath. I checked it awkwardly and saw more texts. grr. Zander walked off with some of his friends and I ran towards my locker.
