Ashton's POV

The plan was all set. I would capture Katerina's sister and use her as bait to capture Katerina herself. It would go off without a hitch. Hopefully.

Grace's POV

It was a nice day for a Monday and I spent some time outside after school. I was walling around in the woods to get fresh air when I heard a twig snap behind me. I turned and saw no one. Feeling a little spooked, I turned back and kept walking. Again I heard another twig snap. Only someone was there.

"Who the h3ll are you and why are you following me?" I shouted at the teenage boy I faced. "That's for me to know and you not to know doggy. FOUND HER!!!!!" The last two words were a shout and I saw a good thirteen hunter looking boys walk out of the woods.

"Is this Katerina Williams, boss?" one asked the lead boy. I snickered and they all glared at me. "No idiot. It's her sister. We went over this!" he replied angrily. I laughed. "Next time you see Ashton Parke, tell him from Grace that he has the brains of a Lima bean, if that's possible." they stared at me and I got the impression of gob smacked goldfish.

"See you losers." I headed on my way when I felt something heavy hit my head. "You little coward! Throwing a rock at someone while their back was turned! I oughta skin you all alive." I barked out and at least half of them winced. "Sorry Grace May. Not happening." I winced at the sound of my middle name with my first name.

I felt multiple pairs of arms grab mine and restrain me. I had let myself get snuck up on! I felt like an idiot. I wriggled and thrashed about to no avail while cursing at them. I was once told I can make a drunken sailor blush with my language.

"Enough. Incapacitate her already." the lead boy barked at the others. I felt something large and metallic sear my flesh and against my will my vision dimmed. Silver! I tried to throw it off but I passed out. Before I slipped into unconsciousness I heard the lead boy say. "Alright that's enough. Tie her up already."

Everything went black.

Katerina's POV

"Grace! Where the hell are you?" I called through the woods. I had followed her scent but I couldn't find her. My ears suddenly perked up and I heard the sounds of far off swearing. Grace! I ran toward the sound but it was gone before I reached the clearing it had come from. The clearing was empty and Grace's scent went cold. There was a note on the ground. I picked it up and read it.

KATERINA WILLIAMS, was spelled out in bolded letters.

We have Grace May and if you want her back accept me as your mate.

Ashton.

Ashton. I was gonna kill that filthy rat as soon as I got my hands on him. He took my sister, my sister! Just to get to me. I warned Grace not to go out alone but she ignored me. I was gonna get her back, not matter what.
