(Tyler POV)
I waited all day to see that one lonely car driving down the dirt road. If he can drive it up here anyways. I wonder if he's actually coming. Maybe he lied. He could be sitting in bed for all I know. I mean, even though he seemed concerned on the phone he absolutely could of been lying. I find it funny how someone who didn't give a shit about me months ago suddenly cares. Or maybe he always did. I don't know, I just wonder if he was actually serious about coming out here and getting me. I hope hes still nice. I wonder what color his hair is now.
Hours ago by, an I wake up by the sound of tires on the dirt road. I get up an look out a broken window, shards of class going into my skin. But I don't care, I think it's Josh. I back up from the window and end up pacing the huge room back an forth. Glass crunches under my shoes, and outside tires come to a stop on the dirt and rocks. I keep pacing back and forth, and then I hear something that makes my heart light up.
(Josh's POV)
"Tyler?.."
I called out and I didn't get an answer back. I started to panic. If he isn't here, then where could he be?. This has to be where he is. He has to be here. I start walking around as if I know the place. If anything, Tyler knows this place.
"Tyler!?. Tyler where are you?. I'm here Tyler!"
Out of nowhere, a quiet voice sounds, my eyes immediately searching.
"Josh!"
I can't see him. He keeps yelling my name and I follow it back to the big piece of wood over the door frame. I shuffle it out of the way, and there he is. He is kneeling on the floor, his head in his hands. He is obviously crying.
"Tyler?.." I say softly. He turns stands up and turns around. He wipes the tears from his eyes and looks into mine.
"Josh?.. Is it really you?.." He walks towards me, curious. As if i'm not real.
"Yes Tyler. It is really me. I am here. I am finally here." I give him a smile, happy to see him, happy to see that this little fragile boy is still together in one piece.
"Josh." He says quietly, tears falling down his face. He smiles, looking me up and down. Still trying to figure out if I am actually in his presence. "C-can I hug you?.. To know if you are real.?"
This question hits me as a surprise. I knew he would most likely be emotional, I didn't know that he would already want physical contact from me.
"Y-yeah, sure." I smile, opening my arms. He walks towards me. He is obviously upset and surprised and speechless, considering the very few words he has said. He comes towards me an puts his arms around me, tightly. He squeezes his arms around, acknowledging that I am in fact real, that I am infact there for him. I put my arms around his small body, feeling his forehead rest on my shoulder. He begins to cry again. I don't know how or why, but this feels familiar. It feels like I have already done this. It feels, like home.
He sniffles, and looks up at me, not letting go a single bit. "
"Josh, am I safe? Am I safe from Blurryface?. He tried to tell me you weren't real. That you weren't coming. He tried telling me that you were just like my father. That nobody cares about Tyler Joseph. Is this real? Am I really safe, Josh?.."
Tears well up in his eyes once again, all I can do is smile at him. I try and comfort him, hugging him tightly.
"Yes Tyler, you are really safe."
