It was the day after the show that would change our lives. Yesterday, before me and Tyler had left the venue to come home, the guy from the record label found us in our rooms backstage. He already had the papers with him, like he already knew the answer to if we would qualify to be apart of the label.Â
His name was Victor, and he said he used to be part of another band, until everyone ended up getting old of taking forever to write songs and not cooperate with eachother. Since he had experience in the music business, he decided to be apart of the record company.Â
Specifically, he even told us he wanted us to be signed ever since we first started posting videos of us in our apartment. Funny, someone as big as him thought two boys making music in their apartment would of been good enough. He even told us that as soon as we sign, he wanted to start our first tour. So immediately we would be out in the world making people happy with what makes us happy; music.
The papers he had weren't official record label papers, only papers that gave them some rights to our music, let us use their recording studio, and some advertising. Today would be the day we would sign with them. Officially have a label and officially become a band that the world would recognize.Â
Me an Ty dressed up as we usually would. We didn't know what the occasion called for. We packed our bags and kissed our home goodbye. We didn't know when we would be back.
We left early in the morning because the company was in Cleveland. I made sure to drive an let Tyler sleep. And, like the nice husband I am, I tried to avoid as many holes in the road as possible. Â
Today was a special day since we were being signed, an I wanted to make it extra special and make today like our first real date. I booked a hotel room and had reservations made at the restaurant we ate at.Â
We arrived to Cleveland at about 11:30am, just in time for the labeling agency. We parked in the hotel we had stayed at previously, which coincidentally was right across the street from the record label builing.
I woke Tyler up by giving him kisses, and the first thing he did was kiss back an bite my lip. He opened his eyes and giggled at me. He licked my bottom lip before pulling I pulled my head back, sending chills down my spine but bringing warmth into my cheeks and lower body.
"Babyboy, you just woke up. We can't do this now, we have our appointment soon." He looked at me sleepily, bringing his hand to my upper thigh. I winced, wanting him to go further but knowing we couldn't.
"Mmm but Joshie look how I woke up," He whined an pointed downwards. And sure enough, poor Tyler had a hard on. I laughed at him before reaching over an pinching his cheek.
"Well don't worry baby, we can celebrate all night long. Got us a hotel room an dinner reservations, i'm yours all night long." I leaned over and kissed him one last time as he groaned against my lips. But I did get a smile out of him, so I know I did something right.
