Coffee or nah?

Lyka woke up.

"Ang sakit ng ulo ko!" she complained

"Naparami yata inom natin kagabi."
"Oo nga Justine"

"Tekaaa!!! Anong oras na ba?!" Parang binuhusan ng malamig na tubig na bumangon si Kat to checked her watch.

"ALAS DOSE NA MGA BAKLAAAA!!!"

Pagkasigaw na pagkasigaw ni Kat, hacienderas stood up quickly and turned the TV on. Gising na gising silang nag-uunahan sa upuan na para bang walang mga hang over.

*Eat Bulaga intro*

"EAT BULAGA NA!!!!!" they shouted in chorus.

Unlike before, Lyka already has something to look forward everyday because of AlDub. Dati hirap na hirap siyang gumising sa umaga but since AlDub happened, she now welcomes every morning with a smile. Nakahawak nga lang kaagad sa cellphone. Alden and Maine became her escape when reality suffocates her so much.

As they were watching Kalyeserye, all you can hear were screaming and cursing because of kilig. Parang inasinang uod look was their usual look kapag usapang Alden at Maine na.

"Gwapooo ni Alden!"

"Oo no Benod? Gusto ko talaga tulad ni Alden makakatuluyan ko" she said with a big smile.

"Lyka para kang maghahanap ng karayom na nahulog sa palayan."
Lyka rolled her eyes.

"Kontra ka Cielo eno?"

"HAHAHAHAHAHA lamyu girl!"

While they were watching...
"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!" they all screamed.

"TUKAIN MO NA ALDEN!!!!" sigaw ni Mich sa TV

"SUNGGABAN MO NA ALDEN!!!!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA nakakaloko yung sunggab Benod!"

"Ganyan yan siya Lyka! Hahahaha" Cielo added sabay bato ng unan kay Benod.

Benod grabbed the pillow thrown to her and hugged it tightly releasing her kilig.
As soon as KS finished, Lyka ran to the bathroom quickly.

"LYKA MAY MARATHON?" pasigaw na usisa ni Justine.

"Malilate na ako girl!"

"Magandang magandang magandang magandang magandang nilalang nanaman ang naririnig at kasama niyo ngayong hapon. Lyka was a radio DJ. It's been her dream since she was a kid.

"I'll be back hindi tulad niya and let's start reading your hugots. But for now, let's listen to "Out of my league" and fall I love once again."

"Lyka, coffee mo" Pabs, her workmate handed the coffee to her.

"Huh? Kanino ga.. ahh" she didn't continue what she's about to say because she already knew whom it came from. Pabs just smiled at her.

"Kailan ba titigil yon?" she shaked her head and put the coffee at the side.

"Why don't you give him a chance?" Pabs asked her.

"I tried ate."

"Ha? Kailan? Parang hindi ako aware."

"SA IMAGINATION!"

"Sira ulo!"

"And I can't see myself with him. Alam mo yon?"

"Anong yon?"

"Yung feeling na kapag nakita mo yung tao, ito wala talaga to, ito naman workable."

"Batang to! Ewan ko sayo. Pasok nga sa standards, nag-iinarte naman."

Lyka laughed at nag-on air na ito.

"Did you already talk to him?" Pabs asked as they wait for their other colleagues.

"Not yet po. Should I?"

"Of course you should tell him face to face, at least, what you really feel towards him."

"You think?" and she was answered by a nod.

"Don't you think that's quite rude?"

"Rude is your middle name tho."
Lyka laughed because she agreed about it.

"If you say so, sige" then she took a deep sigh.

The next day, she decided to meet the "coffee guy" named Mark at the Starbucks just across their building.

"Lyka!" then she went to his direction

"Hi Mark."

"Ano palang sasabihin mo? Buti naman pumayag kanang makipag-coffee manlang sakin."

"Ahh hehe ano kasi... kape ka muna"

"Thanks" he took a sip and smiled at her

"Alam mo... mabait ka, disente tsaka okay ka. As in. Maraming babae pa yung magkakagusto sayo" Mark frowned because of what she just said.

"What are you trying to say?"

"Hmmm that I don't like you giving me coffee and I don't like you either." She managed confessing it without looking at him. Sobrang nakokonsensya kasi siya.

Mark was okay at pasok sa standards but Lyka cannot feel anything special. When she raised her head, she saw Mark smiling at her.

"Why are you smiling?" She asked out of curiosity because she expected a disappointed look from him.

"Alam mo kung bakit kita nagustuhan?" Lyka shaked her head and questions running through her mind.

"Because you know what you don't like and what you like. That's what I admire about you."

"Why are telling this to me?"

"Para hindi ka na ma-guilty or what." He smiled again. "Thanks for being honest Lyka."
