"Oliver, i know that you are happy and everything is going well for you, but we need to talk about Remy." The doctor said as she took a seat next to my bed. Uriah and Darren had stepped out earlier so that they could go get something to eat, and the doctor had slithered in here. I don't know why we couldn't have had this conversation when all three of us are here.

"I don't understand why you are trying to keep this away from my mates, they have the right to know." I say angrily as I slap my leg in my thought to emphasize what I am trying to get across. The doctor sighs but nods her head.

"Vey well, we will wait for them to get back." I nod at her as I turn and look at my four little pups sitting in their small little beds provided for then by the hospital.

I can't wait until I can get out of here. Everyone has been kicking in to make the nursery since I gave birth earlier then expected. It was finished yesterday and I'm really dying to see it.

It's only about half an hour later when Darren and Uriah come back, showered and fed. They smile at me before taking their respective seats next to my bed. The doctor doesn't waste a second and immediately slithers back into the room.

"Like I told Oliver, I need to talk to the three of you about Remy." Darren and Uriah frown and look af me before turning to the doctor and nodding in sinc. I would scare me if I wasn't use to them doing things at the same time anymore.

"Before you had your C- section, you knew that there would be some complications with Remy. He wasn't fully developed and that was a huge problem, we all thought he wouldn't make it."

"Well he did, so I don't get why we are having this conversarion." I say, beginning to get defensive because I don't like where this conversarion is leading to.

"Yes, that's true, but he had to use his own healing powers to stay alive. Werewolves can naturally heal faster then Humans can, but usually this doesn't kick in until after they have shifted, and one of the reasons that that is, is because their wolves need time to grow just like their bodies do." I nod as I stare at her, my heart clenching as she continues to talk.

"Well, when Remy used his healing abilities, he stunted his wolf's growth." I sit confused as I wait for her to continue.

"The wolf needs to be able to reach a certain size by the time a shifter needs to shift, but by using his healing abilities how, and stunting his wolf, Remy will never be able to shift." The room is quiet as we sit there. Her words sit heavy in our chest, weighing us down.

I have no idea what it would be like to not be able to shift, to not be able to be what you were created to be made. I haven't ever had to go through that, but knowing mt baby will, makes my heart break.

"He's healthy besides that though. I just thought I should let you know as early as I could so that you would have some time to think over it." The doctor smiles a final time before turning and heading out the door.

I turn to Uriah and he gives me a small sad smile. I let my tears fall as I place my head on his chest and let Darren curl himself into my back. The three of us sit together as we think about our little baby's future.
