LISSA POV
As soon as the doctor walked out of the room, Rose said, "Where did you get that from?"
"It's an actual country. Its on the black sea and the king knew my dad well and said he would confirm that I was queen. Even though his queen died two years ago."
"Thank you for coming," Rose said.
"Wouldn't miss it. You've always been there for me when I gave birth. Now time for me to return the favor."
A doctor walked in and told us what was going to happen. She said that she would get Rose into a c-section ASAP. It was nice knowing that she really cared. Around ten o' clock, they hauled Rose out of the room. Dmitri followed. The rest of us either stayed in the room, or went out to the waiting room. When I went out there, I saw Janine Hathaway staring out a window.
"Guardian Hathaway?" I questioned. "Are you okay?"
"The bleeding," she replied. "It reminds me of what happened to one of my friends. She was an Alchemist. She had died in childbirth. There was a lot of bleeding. I gave the baby to a person...a person I did not know at the time. He was the father. He gave his child to the alchemist because he could not care for it."
"So there's this alchemist who is half Moroi, half alchemist?"
"Yes."
"Who was the father?"
"Ibriam Mazur."
"Do you know the child's name?"
"Yes. His name is Dean Marcus Stevens. But he goes by Agent Mazur."
DEAN MARKUS POV
"My father is a Moroi!" I yelled at my mother.
"I am not your biological mother. I took you in as a favor to your mother, Deena Markus," she replied.
"Who is my father?"
"Mazur."
"Ibriam Mazur?"
"The very one."
